Today, the massive dichotomy between the live-action scenes and the in-game ones seems pretty comical, but back then we just took it for granted and seeing a new game in the commercials was the greatest thing ever.

Only “free” Nintendo game I ever got - Mom sent in a promo redemption from Nintendo Power, and a few weeks later it showed up in the mail. Big deal when I only got 1 or 2 games a year.

Never get a horse damn false advertisement...

Live-action Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest needs more disturbing Slimes, like in Dragon Quest Fantasia.
