martin basically told us that the reason he doesn’t give up is because of love, how he loves people, things deeply and completely. that even when it feels like the end, he can do it over again because he has that love in him. he is so full of love 💔

These April fools day showcases on THE PRICE IS RIGHT were the best! I love hearing Johnny Olson having a difficult time keeping it together reading the script.

Twitch Streamer Asmongold responds to Kick Streamer Mizkif's recent video. Asmongold shares that he did have multiple creators reach out to him regarding how Mizkif treated them, and they wanted to come forward with the assistance of Asmongold. Asmongold suspects that when the lawsuit occurred, it had a chilling effect on the unknown creators who wanted to speak out, and they never came forward because of the lawsuit.

I don’t believe in "right love, wrong time" or "right man, wrong time." If he shows up at the wrong timing, maybe he wasn’t the right one to begin with. The right man doesn’t stumble into your life by accident. He comes exactly when he’s meant to. Because right love? Right love doesn’t confuse you. Right love doesn’t make you chase it. You won’t question it. You won’t doubt it. You will KNOW it.. and you will NEVER MISS it. Timing isn’t luck. Love isn’t a maybe. When it’s meant for you, it’s RIGHT. No excuses. No second-guessing. Always. Right Time. Right Man. Right Love. #DUSTBIA #DUSTINYU #BIANCADEVERA

Daniel Dennett on "deepities" the profound-sounding claims that are secretly empty Philosopher Daniel Dennett has a name for a type of statement that sounds wise but actually says nothing: a deepity. He explains it this way: "A deepity is an apparently profound observation that is ambiguous. It has two readings. On one reading it's obviously false, but if it were true it would be very important. And on the other it's trivially true." The trick is in the ambiguity. When you hear a deepity, part of your brain registers the trivially true reading and thinks yes, that's correct. But another part is reaching for the dramatic, important-sounding reading and that's where the illusion of profundity comes from. Dennett's favourite example, which he uses when teaching the concept to students: "Love is just a word." It sounds deep. Think about it for a moment and it feels like it's gesturing at something real. That love is intangible, constructed, perhaps even illusory. But Dennett dismantles it immediately: "Whatever love is, it isn't a word. You can't find love in the dictionary." That's the "use-mention error" confusing the word love with the thing love refers to. Once you put quotation marks around it properly, the statement collapses into something utterly banal: "love" is just a word. Well, yes. So is "cheeseburger." So is "word." The deepity survives only because we don't slow down enough to ask which reading we're actually accepting. Once you have the word "deepity," you start seeing them everywhere: in self-help, in politics, in philosophy.

Anybody else feel like jk simmons performance has been weirdly flat since season 1? Like just listen to the difference in his delivery he sounds like he’s reading a script sometimes in the new seasons, what happened?

Charles Barkley says President Trump made it Popular to be Racist and hate women, then in glorious fashion, professes his love and admiration for James Talarico 🤣 “One of the worst things about Trump is that he’s made it popular to be racist. There’s no consequences for being a racist now. It’s like a lot of people were it with a badge of courage.. like, he never denounces it. He’s made it more acceptable to be racist.” He goes on to say how he LOVES James Talarico because he’s a real leader. Notice his eyes while he is talking about him. It’s like he’s reading something. lol

people twisting his words here calling him straight and say he dgaf about representation in queer love is so upsetting. how is saying “it’s just a story about two people” wrong? it’s not ignoring identity, it’s normalizing it. BL as a label is important for representation but it doesn’t mean the story has to be limited by it. queer romance should be treated normally like any romance films of straight people and can exist in any genre such as action, thriller, horror, anything. at the end of the day love is love so treating it like it always has to stay in a separate box kind of goes against that idea.
