Here is what I think is happening to Drake Maye. The team needs to just totally ignore what the retards in Boston sports media keep saying. The team is putting the handcuffs on this guy. He's not a Tom Brady clone, he's a Josh Allen clone. By berating him anytime he takes a chance and it doesn't work out, he's getting gun shy. Allen doesn't give a shit what the media says. He goes out there and plays his game and he always will. It's what makes him great. Let Maye be himself and use the skills he has to make great plays. Yes you will have to live with some bonehead failed plays like with Allen, but there will be more good than bad. Even Patrick Mahomes makes stupid throws at times. Nobody is about to change his style. But if you have Maye thinking about every single throw he is going to make instead of trusting his instincts and firing the ball confidently, he's going to be ruined.

You are the ones that smoke all of that and create high expectations, Drake is still on development and now you are making him the bad guy. Your QB, now has to make rapport with Doubs, after losing Brown, Diggs and Boutte. Probably Vrabes though he was ready and let go his targets of last season, but he is not
