Not a high ball knower if you're calling Maye's receivers stars. Maye's high accuracy was not a coincidence. He can read defenses otherwise he wouldn't have over 70% completion and making dialed in throws. He's getting a lot of pressure on the left side during the playoffs because his left tackle had a major MCL sprain and can't compete against top talent while not being 100%. His rookie left guard is really a center. His best protection is coming from the right side. 2 of Maye's picks came from a tipped ball because the center didn't finish his block and the 2nd was a Hail Mary with zeros on the clock. If you watched the games, you'd know this. Plus Maye had 3 TDs against the Texans. No QB did this against the Texans all year. Also, Maye's shoulder was hurt in the 3rd quarter, but who's to say it wasn't hurt before that. His poor performance against the Broncos was due to weather and being injured for the majority of the 2nd half. Let's not discredit what he has done up until this point. Patriots have beaten three playoff teams. Only one other team in the league has done that this year. Patriots would not be where they are today if not for Maye and he absolutely still deserves his MVP candidacy.
