Jensen Huang reveals how he actually spends his time as CEO and why he often refuses to sleep "I spend a lot of time talking to our employees. People are surprised how much time I spend eating in the cafeteria, whether it's lunch or dinner" "I need to come back to my number one job function and what I believe is the most important responsibility I have, which is to be the custodian of the culture" "If you want to be the custodian of the culture, you can't do it through CNN, you can't do it through Forbes magazine articles" "You have to do it 1% at a time unfortunately, or large crowds at a time" "I try to spend my time as much as I can on the things that I believe will have long-lasting influence on our company" "As a CEO, your time is not always yours. You need to have the discipline to make it yours. I'll often come into the office and tell my admin to clear my calendars just so I can have that time back" "You also come to the conclusion that as a CEO, not sleeping is a good choice. That's always a good option. It creates more time when you don't sleep"

Movie is out! Go watch if you can! Aside from reviewing, giving notes, redlining, and giving as much support to the animators as I much as I can behind the scenes, I got to do some roughs here and there when time allowed it. Here are some of my most faves!

Tyrese Haliburton reveals what Kevin Durant did after his Achilles injury that changed how he thinks about the word respect, and how much he cares about if he gets it “And after I got hurt, I realized how many people have checked on me. Checked on me, like, actually checked on me, how I'm doing. Not just, like, ‘How you doing?’ and keep it pushing. Like, have come and visited me or whatever. That's what I really value and what I really care about from people that I love and I respect. That's what matters to me.” “I don't know if, as a competitor, do I feel like I'll ever get the respect that I deserve? Probably not. But I view it in a sense of, like, it doesn't really matter because basketball, I can only play for a finite amount of time. And then when I retire, people are going to have debates and it won't really matter because it's all people's opinion and the way that they view the game of basketball.” “I hope that they respect the man that I am and the person I am. That's what matters more to me. As far as a basketball player, you can't please everybody, bro. Everybody's gonna have a problem with my game or something that I do. I don't shoot enough. It doesn't look the way it's supposed to look. I don't defend well enough. Like, it could be whatever.” “I don't care. As long as my teammates, everybody, as long as they respect me, that matters more to me. And the guys who are like my superheroes to me growing up, KD, Steph, Bron, like, go down the line, I feel like they respect me. And in the game of basketball, if those guys respect me, I don't give a shit what anybody else thinks. You know what I mean? Like, truthfully. So I know it's a loaded answer, but it's kind of just the way I view it.” “That's what I'm saying. And people I look up to, I can go down the line, especially those three, because to me, in my generation, that's like the big three. When I got hurt, KD flew to Indy to visit me. He was out there for All-Star, but he came early to come see me. Came to my crib. He was chilling with my dog, throwing the toy with my dog, like, to check on me. I was like, ‘Okay, he's forever. We forever cool.’” “You know, Bron and Steph both called and checked on me. When I got shingles and I said what I was going through, they both called me, checked on me. LeBron, during the Finals, I got so many voice memos from Bron during the Finals, which was like the craziest thing ever. But that's like the big three to me. So the fact that they show love, I'm like, in the world of basketball, what else matters? You know what I'm saying?”

“what’s the first thing you do when you wake up? 🌷: I check my phone to see what’s happening in my work group, report, social media, artwork, and things like that. Then, I check my calendar to see my schedule for the day, like when I need to get my hair and makeup done and where I need to go next. I try to make time and give my all to everything I do as workload can get overwhelming, so it’s really important to take some time to rest as well. I asked Angel when did she realize she had so much influence in the community: “As soon as I won a national championship. You probably can see the popularity continue to grow. When I was at Maryland, my younger days. “Now it's worldwide, everywhere. People know kind of who I am, and it's crazy sometimes because I can just go. I necessarily can't really go places that I used to enjoy all the time, but it really is really inspiring. I'm grateful and I'm really just happy.”

LeBron James says Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s efficiency is Jordan-esque: “Every time you look at the efficiency you look at the box scores and you see Shai 38 it’s like 13 for 17 from the floor you know the other night I think he had 40 something I think it was like 15 for 19. That’s one of my favorite things about players like you know I mean that’s because how I am like I love efficient players. Like you know can go out can do the things on the floor be efficient you know not taking too many bad shots, I mean if you get on a heater you want to take a heat check or two I get it. We all have our nights where we don’t shoot you know to our capabilities, I mean that just comes with the game. But yeah, I think that’s one of the things I love about Shai is just like for him to play on the perimeter as much as he does, playing at mid-range as much as he does and still be as super efficient as he is. It’s Jordan-esque.” (Via Mind the Game)

Yoon Jaechan talks about Kim Hyeyoon comforting him during Salmokji filming: “She’s really a good sunbae and colleague” While I was filming the movie, I was also filming a drama at the same time… It was weighing on my mind, and at that time I also wasn’t really able to sleep properly, so my head was hurting a lot, and while trying to get through the filming I kept thinking, “ah, my condition isn’t good today” and I was kind of lying face down in the car like this, and then… our god-Hyeyoon sunbaenim patted my back and said, “just feel everything as much as you want to feel it, you can use all the time you need, so take all the time you need and do the acting you want as much as possible.” She said something like that, and I think it comforted me a lot at the time. I think it really comforted me then, and it made me think, “ah, she is really a good sunbae and also, she is a good colleague too”

Caitlin Clark on how she gets covered by the media: "I think there's just like a false characterization of who I am sometimes. And I get it like as a reporter or as a blogger, like you can write an opinion piece and that's your job and whatever. But at the same time, like you don't know me. Like we've never had a conversation. I get people have a job to do. But at the same time, like don't make accusations about my character and who I am when you don't know me. I understand this is your job and this is your profession, and this is what you get to do. And basketball is my profession, what I get to do. And the reason I play it is when I step in between the lines, I love it. And that's what's so fun about it for me is like, I get to compete. This was always my dream. And nobody should ever try to take that away from me"

Sinner on if there’s anything Djokovic doesn’t do as well as he used to, ‘I’m lucky to have someone like him in front of my eyes & I can hopefully learn something… I think the way he is playing and moving, if you are not professional, you don’t play at this level’ “Novak will be 39 in May. Do you think there are things he doesn’t do as well now as he used to?” Jannik: “The level he is still playing, he is I think the most professional athlete we have here in the locker room. Me as a 24 year old, I am lucky to have someone like him in front of my eyes and I can hopefully learn something. I feel like every day and every time he plays I can learn something about him, about Carlos, about all the other great, great players. I think the way he is playing and moving, if you are not professional, you don’t play at this level. He is an inspiration for all of us, especially young players.” (via Australian Open Press)

Jaylen Brown on how he felt physically after missing the last two games due to Achilles tendinitis: "I felt ok. I felt fine. I had a couple of plays where I took some hard falls, but overall I felt fine. I'm just trying to get my feet up under me and just maintain my balance and stuff like that. I feel like I missed a lot of easy shots even at the rim. Uncharacteristic, but you shake it off and move on."

🎥| “I just want to say like, I'm not very good at hiding when I'm nervous. You know, some people are better at press training than I am the better in this moment of kind of keeping it together, but I probably show it in my face. The thing is I feel like I could be really honest with you guys, you know, so if I'm feeling nervous, I don't feel like I have to proper hide it cause I feel like you guys got me back. And that's been the case as long as I've been doing this. And it takes a lot of me to go on stage. You know, I fucking love these moments, but it's terrifying at times. Come on. I just... thank you for all the fucking confidence and strength you've given me to play this record and to do something like this.” Louis Tomlinson on stage at #HDWGHWTHamburg (xorainbowlouis)

So, good for him and again, he's a guy I trust. We'll see, it's tough to get him out of the lineup, I can tell you that." "He's very professional, even when he didn't like to go down. Rob Reiner on the comparisons between "The Sure Thing" (1985) & "It Happened One Night" (1934): "A lot of people have said 'The Sure Thing' (1985) was like a teenage version of 'It Happened One Night' (1934). It’s hard to believe but at that point I’d never seen that movie. I’ve subsequently seen it and the only thing that’s comparable to me is that it’s on the road and the two people who don’t particularly like each other fall in love. The only thing that I ever shoot for is to try to be as good as I can be at the time. You may look back on something you’ve done ten, twelve years ago and say, “Well, that’s not as good as I can do now.” And it’s really irrelevant. The only thing you can go by is whether this as good as you can do at the time you’re doing it. And I felt when I finished 'The Sure Thing', it was as good as I could do at that time." Ethan Hawke tells Sydney Sweeney his unique method for memorizing massive amounts of dialogue by treating it like a personal journal. "What I do, and I started doing this a really long time ago, I handwrite everything like it's my journal. When I'm memorizing, I'm not memorizing from a typewritten final draft page. I don't want to have that in my brain, and I don't want irrelevant stage directions to be part of it." "And then I do it again to see what I remember and what I don't remember. I try to write it from memory. And then I look, and I see what I got wrong. That process really helps me." "Then I try to record it with no acting. I listen, when I if I think I have it, I take three pages or something and you try to learn that. And then I look at the script and see what I got wrong." "Jon Voight taught me this when I was like 19, which is you unlace your shoe, and you have to do the speech lacing your shoe. If I'm trying to remember, then it's difficult to do. Until you can do that, until you can do other things, you don't really know it."

But listen, I feel so lucky and grateful to be able to do what I do, but obviously, I couldn't do it without the trust you give me. I'm out of breath and I haven't even started singing yet. Just give me a second. I know you're going to react to this, but listen, I don't consider myself the best singer in the world, I don't consider myself the best artist in the world. I don't judge myself as the best performer in the world. Just don't. Just don't. But I think what all this shows is that I'm from a small town in Doncaster, right? Where we don't usually get opportunities like this. And when I have all of you, I feel like I can do anything, absolutely anything. And on nights like this, when you look around and see what we've created together, it's incredible. I see you trying to gain. It's above the waist. It doesn't count. [interacting with a fan] Yes, I just want to say that this is one of those really, really special moments. I feel so proud of what we've created together. And you should feel proud of yourselves too!" Louis Tomlinson on stage at #HDWGHWTBologna
