Already loving the story that Carmelo Hayes is creating with US Title open challenges. Usually after First 48, he goes immediately for Nothing But Net. But his knee is still hurt after the Nakamura match so he couldn't go to the top rope fast enough and decided to go for the pinfall instead. Hitting his finisher with injured leg is extremely hard so he adjusted his gameplan and was able to get the win after reversing Superplex into a Cutter. All about the survival. Great stuff.
