So Jagex is incapable of coding monsters with balances stats and a variety of attacks and weapons, instead of the current design meta of “we’re going fo make a raid where Tbow reigns supreme over everything to the point where that’s the only item you need for the entire raid…” then have to walk that back and force crush in there after the fact. Why is it impossible to code a boss that has a variety of attacks and what he does depends on what you’re using? For example if you’re using magic attacks he will use X set of attacks and mechanics, if you use range attacks he will use Y set of mechanics and if you use melee he will use Z set of mechanics? That to me seems more intuitive and gives a wide range of mechanics and options to the encounters. Instead it feels like we have someone sitting in a room saying to themselves… “hmm I want TBow to be used here, and here and here and here… or let me sprinkle in 1 or 2 random elemental needs and a barrage over here…” then come back and say “oh darn I forgot to add crush… too much TBow, let me hotfix that real quick…” Maybe it’s just not possible to do such a boss… idk it just seems like you all sit and pick exactly what you want to be BIS at whatever comes out for whatever arbitrary reason irrespective of the “sandbox” this game was supposed to be. Then I sit and watch the podcast with JMods saying stuff like “we want a variety of ways to play and we respect players time… blah blah…” well obviously you don’t if you force a certain playstyle with certain encounters irrespective of people’s preferred play-style and irrespective of people’s time spend grinding hundreds of hours for certain pieces of gear to then be completely irrelevant and useless in new pieces of content…
