Drew Pavlou 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼 Always felt for those who jumped

One of the saddest 9/11 stories I've read about. A man on the West Side of the North Tower tried to climb down the side of the building using a technique known as a ''chimney climb.'' He managed to scale down 9 floors over the course of 30-40 minutes. He went down from the 94th floor to the 85th floor but was knocked off when the South Tower collapsed. Indomitable human spirit. I wish we knew his name.

I remember seeing what I thought were ashes falling on TV, but they were people jumping from the windows, one after another. For many years, I couldn't bring myself to watch these clips again because they were so devastating and heartbreaking. We watched the second plane crash into the building. It was too much to process. I still can't imagine how anyone could do something like that to other human beings. If we could all think of one another just a little bit more, then maybe, just maybe, the world would be a better place for everyone. RIP 🙏
