Itโ€™s a big day for us today. Tinaโ€™s hospital has patients being operated on. I remember when I say with her for 6 hours at a time on a drip in my little house I said to myself the street dogs needed better care. I promised her future dogs would have thatโ€ฆ ๐Ÿฅ Today Tinaโ€™s field hospital is officially open. We have our full licenses, permits and can operate on dogs. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธOur first full time vet has started. Dr Signa and our vet assistants and team had a busy day. ๐Ÿ”ซ Our first patient was Big Red who has been shot twice. In a 3 hour operation the team removed 2 bullets. ๐Ÿ• The hospital is for street dogs and 3 were operated on today. There are another 3 coming in tomorrow. It is changing their lives. ๐ŸŒด This is only stage one. The biggest hospital is being built behind this with x ray machines and a lot more advanced equipment. ๐Ÿฉธ Because the hospital and all treatments are 100% free for the Thai community we are softly rolling it out. The rest of 2025 will be about processes and how people can help their dogs. That part wonโ€™t be easy or rushed. ๐ŸŽพ I have to say I had a little tear running down my cheek driving away to a meeting seeing a full medical team working on dogs and changing lives. Last week I posted a novel-length announcement in the ZA Discord server. I spoke about a business pivot, and a refocus of our vision. I spoke about getting back to what made our community so special in the first place: educational content, and a community of learners working together to navigate a difficult-to-navigate space, together. Education should be as free as possible for as many as possible for as long as possible. We have two more exclusive tiers, for those wanting different tiers of access and perks. Social Identity, art, and fun. We launched in Nov 2021 when everyone was doing PFP projects, and wanted to be utility-first, education-first, community-first, and everything else second. We were the first project to do an application process (for the 333 club), and one of the first to do an open-edition (might have been the first for a membership club token). We've been here for almost 2 years now and have thousands of community members all around the globe. You might not have heard of us because we're not screaming hype-talk on the timeline; that is not our style. We're the quiet ones. We prefer bookshops over nightclubs, and discourse over drama. Chicago Bears: The Deep Ball Faรงade As a Chicago Bears truther, I gotta keep it ๐Ÿ’ฏ There are many Bears fans posting โ€œAmazingโ€ out of the pocket deep ball highlights of Caleb Williams Obviously, we donโ€™t see those kinds of throws everyday. If the Bears are going to be great, we have to become more efficient from the pocket. Pass percentage must go up, time in pocket must come down. Living outside the pocket will hinder our ability to be efficient and to win a Super Bowl #1 Deep Ball was always there Justin Fields in 2023 had one of the most efficient deep balls in the league. Not only that, the majority of his deep balls came from the pocket which is what you want from your QB. As good as the Bears were as a whole last year, the deep ball was far more efficient in 2023. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. We have to focus on the fundamentals #2 Ben Johnson is the catalyst Similar to 2023, Bears offense in 2024 had explosive plays followed by inconsistent offense and inept situational football by the head coach Poor offensive line, poor offensive scheme, and inept head coach were the core issues. Ryan Poles thought QB was the main issue and then 2024 happened. We learned quick that it takes more than a talented QB to win football games. Ben Johnson has alleviated all of those concerns. He has made Bears offensive line the focal point! His scheme has been top of the league since he became OC in Detroit. And his situational football awareness far superior than Eberflus. Bears fans must recognize that Ben Johnson is the catalyst of the Bears offensive turnaround, and team success. Now give him what he needs! He wants 3 tight ends? Give it to him He wants more Luther Burden? Give it to him He wants more efficiency out of his QB? Letโ€™s make that the focal point.. #3 Ben Johnson needs a point guard at QB Efficiency in the pocket, time to throw, and passing EPA are far more important to Ben Johnsonโ€™s offense than out of pocket deep balls. We need Caleb to be that killer still, but itโ€™s the fundamentals that will allow Bears to take the next step. This offense doesnโ€™t need a Michael Jordan at QB. Ben Johnson would much rather have an Isiah Thomas at QB because this offense has enough Bad Boys to get the job done. Feed the WRs! Get the ball out of your hands quicker! Allow deep ball to be the counter punch of the offense. #4 Itโ€™s all there.. The pre-snap awareness, post snap awareness, efficiency from pocket, and pass velocity all scream franchise QB. When you look at Caleb Williams in the pocket on short to intermediate passes, it looks effortless. The ball leaves his hand lightning quick, itโ€™s placed where itโ€™s supposed to be, and WR is able to make a play after the catch. We have to see more of this and it starts now. CW has to trust Ben Johnsonโ€™s offense and his WRs more. Conclusion: If we wanted a QB to scramble and throw deep balls, Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear What makes Caleb unique, is that he can be a hunter down the field but also has the upside to be a Drew Brees type of QB in the pocket. I rather see more clips of Caleb playing in rhythm and in the pocket , than deep bombs out the pocket. There will be struggles, but thatโ€™s ok. I much rather see our QB struggle making the right throws in OTAs than masking it with his gift as an out the pocket thrower.
