Driver parks in front of fire hydrant and finds out

My buddy's a fireman and he says this is literally his favourite thing to do. Also, they don't have to pay to fix it and the driver gets a ticket.

Alright , before anyone comments against it .. I think I need to clarify this .. No, they cannot go over, under, or around the car. It’s literally a life and death situation, they need as much water as possible as fast as possible, any bends or kinks in the hose will lower the water pressure significantly. If you don’t want this to happen to your car don’t park in front of a fire hydrant, it’s 100% legal and necessary for this to be done and 100% illegal to park in front of the hydrant. That’s it, no ifs ands or buts about it
