Why is it okay for Australian coal to be shipped to China, but not for us to use that same coal here? I'm at the Port of Gladstone with Dave Harris, One Nation candidate for Flynn. We've just seen a ship carrying Australian coal to an overseas market. We watch China build 2 new coal plants weekly using OUR coal and we are blowing ours up! Only One Nation's policy supports building more coal-fired power stations that will cut electricity costs by 50% in three years. This government promised to protect our mountains and yet here we are calling open season on mining and risking irreparable damage to our economy, agriculture sector, recreational lands and water.
