Heavy rains caused the Chabasquencito River in Chabasquén, Portuguesa, to overflow, flooding streets, homes and businesses. In Vietnam, the Phu Thien suspension bridge over the Da Nhim River in Lam Dong was swept away by flooding this morning. Authorities had already closed the bridge as water levels surged from hydropower releases, preventing any casualties. The loss of the bridge now forces locals in Duc Trong and Ninh Gia to take a 3 km detour instead of the usual 120 m crossing.

The 'nalas' around Yamuna are also filled with water, because of which the areas around Yamuna, especially ISBT, Ring Road, and ITO are facing waterlogging. Humans cannot control the flow of the water. We are constantly in touch with Haryana to ensure that they release the least amount of water so that the situation doesn't get worse. We are evacuating people in water-logged areas and transferring them to relief camps...Water has also entered several roads in Delhi as well.
