Drop Pod scenes never get old

I do sometimes feel sorry for the grunt drop pods in Titanfall 2 MP that land right in front of my Tone. All that training and preparation only to land in front of an enemy rapid fire 40mm cannon the size of a small car.

This is just helldivers for me now with the odst drop pod and amber clad mods.

Imagine if they missed the ring.

Before we had Helldivers, we had Helljumpers.

I always wondered why the drop pods from ODST were different from these ones I know that art direction can do that, but I wanna know the lore reasons
