So the winning submission out of 80,000+ was a lighthouse logo on the worlds most basic design. Just tell us you wanted a blue jersey with a lighthouse logo.

Pro sports teams should do stuff like this more often. Even though I really like this design and it’s by far the best jersey the Islanders have, I’m still surprised it won considering how many nicer-looking lighthouse-themed designs I saw.

This is a darker day than when Tavares walked for absolutely nothing in return. At least it saves me about $300, I guess. (A lot more when you add in kids.) What an ugly design.
