This conversation also highlights another interesting dynamic, relationship and question. If Ghost was able to kill Breeze, someone who he loved like a brother. Why wasn't he able to do the same with Kanan? Kanan was there for him when his pops died, but it's clear there was a lot of love between Kanan and Ghost in Power Origins. My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

But John Hughes lost her when her agent got her a role in the TV Show, "Santa Barbara". About Wright, casting director Jackie Burch said, "“She was not voluptuous but still hot for young boys" Kelly Emberg, a model and cover girl was cast in the part. But the problem with her was that she couldn't act. Hughes asked Burch to find someone who was “gorgeous and can act.” She found Kelly LeBrock. According to Kelly LeBrock, she turned down the role when it was offered to her first because she was having way too much fun in the South of France with Sting and she didn't want to go to the USA. After about three weeks of shooting, the one hired instead of LeBrock was fired. LeBrock was called again and they said, "we will give you whatever you want". She got on the flight to Chicago the very next day. About her experience during the early days of filming, LeBrock said, "My first scene was the shower scene, and I was forced to wear the previous actress’s wardrobe. She was a completely different body type than I was so a lot of the outfits had to be modified for them to work. Ghost was so busy with club business, dealing with Filipe Lobos, various relationships, he didn't realize Milan was disguised as Dean. He had men in his clubs, he knew where he lived, he knew about his relationship with Angela, he studied Ghost's routine, right under his nose. Kanan once said that he's seen Ghost spooked before and it wasn't good for anyone. Hopefully, this is something we see in Power Origins, as threats and experiences like this at a young age, would have helped make Ghost the calculated, strategic character we originally saw in Power. But this one moment and Kanan's history lesson, we will for sure see Ghost spooked by something in Origins.

This woman was trying to break into the fashion world. She and her photographer were going around NYC taking photographs that were bold and daring. She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. She expressed she was worried she was going to fall. The young lady was more interested that the woman owns a magazine than she was about her own safety, she then proceeds to call her a Karen for their interaction. To me it seems like she was voicing honest concern, she wasn’t trying to cause an issue and it was in fact the actions of the young lady that was the cause of the distraction for those in the city that day. What is your take on this, was this a valid concern on the lady’s behalf?
