On Friday (Feb. 6), Vanity Fair published an enlightening Q&A with Bianca, who has been rarely heard from during her nearly four-year marriage to Ye, despite frequently making headlines for her risqué attire. During the interview, Bianca opened up about her passion for being in the buff before she met Ye. “I had an obvious obsession with nudity,” Bianca revealed. “I was naked everywhere. I didn’t detach with it at any point. And I really love classical music, and I thought, maybe there isn’t as much presence of that in my… uh, not as much presence of that kind of music around me as there was when I was in college studying music. So I was like, ‘Hm, I want to, you know, make the effort to listen to more classical music, and why not make an album inspired by that and highlight how amazing this tradition is?’ But yeah, I think every album is an excuse to, um, get closer to things I don’t know, to things I feel I don’t know enough about yet.”

[WATCH] Before I was SG I once said things about Nkosazana which I withdrew, publicly and I apologised. I said she is JZ wife. It was wrong for me to say that and I apologised to the NEC and to her. Because my mother in her grave would never allow me to say such things, I should have never judged Mam Nkosazana and her track record on the basis of her being Jacob Zumas wife. It was wrong to say that about a veteran of our movement. So we all say things but we must reflect and apologise. If I told you this was a Hip Hop track that came out in 1989 and not 69 youd believe me. From the beat to the rapping and gold chains it would make sense because this everything about the music and style is hip hop. But since Isaac Hayes was rapping in gold chains in Memphis and not the Bronx, it doesn’t count. Bambooty, and Melle Mel would have you believe they started this culture. Instead of telling the truth about how this culture was handed down to them. The ego of these hip hop so called legends is astonishing. They sampled everything and give credit to nobody. That’s sad.

I think that there's no, benefit of the doubt for black men. And I think that's what you're seeing with Ye. Ye obviously has mental problems. He's obviously said things that hurt a lot of people. But he said a lot of different things. He said slavery was a choice before. He said like numerous offensive things before. All to me in a state of like mental illness. So rather than giving grace to someone for their problems, we demonize them. We do this, we do that. So yeah, I think that there's no grace for black men. So like, I'm not surprised by him being banned. I'm not surprised by people trying to shut it down. That's just personally what I think. we have such selective outrage and such selective forgiveness now that, yeah, I personally think if Ye was a white guy, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. He could build a bomb and nobody would give a f*ck. But yeah, because he's a grown black man, there's an extra, "Nah, we can't let you do this," attached to it. So that's just what I think about it.
