This (+ the fact their average patrons spend no money at clubs/local events) is why what I now call “MainStage” bass music has been relegated to mainly festivals. It’s the Big Room House of this decade but the fans are draped in black & demonic imagery instead of colors & candy

This style of dubstep is so fucking ass. Literally devoid of good drums, groove, actual deep bass, and is more or less a dick swinging contest to see who has the loudest possible mix down.

American dubstep fans have been ripping on subsidia artists for years bc it all sounds alike. If you look past Excisions sphere of influence you can actually find creative artists. Try doin this same thing with svdden death

Brostep, riddim, briddim, vitalstep, serumstep, transformerstyle, future bass and chainsaw phonk have all been taken… What do we call it????? I vote for Big Room Bass
