This must have been this guy’s first time towing a car. Either he forgot to put it in neutral or he forgot to release the parking brake—maybe both. Either way, is this car ruined now? I’m pretty sure it is.

Why the "impact brake" matters:🏌🏻‍♂️ Over-rotating your shoulders/head at impact leaks power → less distance, more spin.🎯 Apply the impact brake instead — power stays concentrated, compression improves, distance increases. 🏌️‍♂️💥⛳

This footage depicts a driverless rollaway in France, likely caused by an unsecured parking brake. As the vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, drifts from its stall, it descends the grassy embankment, converting potential energy into kinetic energy. Upon reaching the retaining wall, the front-heavy weight distribution causes the car to pitch forward, wedging the chassis against the lower walkway. To prevent such incidents, always fully engage the parking brake and turn your wheels toward the curb when parking on any elevation. This provides a physical fail-safe, ensuring the vehicle remains stationary even if the primary transmission lock fails.

Small detail, but I like how the Model Y’s brake pedal no longer moves while in FSD. The Model Y now uses a dual master cylinder brake system. One master cylinder is connected directly to the driver’s brake pedal, and the other is controlled electronically by FSD.

The Tesla Cybercab doesn't have ANY brake fluid. It is the first production vehicle to have a brake-by-wire system. Electronic actuators are responsible for the clamping pressure, rather than hydraulic fluid that you see in traditional vehicles. This system improves efficiency since the brake pads can fully disengage. They can go entirely off or on. It also enables Tesla to fine-tune the braking to be as smooth as possible. PLUS, when the car is built with the unboxed process, Tesla doesn't need to run any brake lines, everything is seamless.

Embraer designed the parking brake handle to work much like the handbrake in your car. In the E190 cockpit, lift the handle to engage the brakes (ON). Release it back down to disengage them (OFF). That simple! And that warning sound? It’s the “GPU Connected” alert — a smart system warning you that you can’t depart with the ground power unit still connected to the aircraft.
