1998 was really the last great year of gaming

This and Majoras Mask were 👌🏻🔥

Pokemon rights of passage : - The first time fighting the Elite Four. - Learning to train to level 100 without using Rare candies. - Catching Mewtwo without a Master Ball. - Missingno hack in Red/Blue. - PC multiplication hack. - Finding a shining pokemon. - Catching the Pokevirus.

+ playing through yellow which was harder than red/blue

"There was no meta" lmao tourist, Mewtwo was so broken the meta was centered around him

“Life has become a micro transaction” that cut deep

💯

The power is in the people now, Pokémon Fangames like Reborn and Rejuvenation are some of most difficult pokemon games.

💯 rom hacks are fun, and can add more of a challenge. I’m playing the recharged yellow rom rn.

Excellent points. I watched a Gen Z youtuber get mad at getting lost in a PS1 game. bruh.... that is the game.

Now I want to play pokémon.

Bro never found exp share. 😂 He’s right about everything being made easier with time though. Pretty lame.

Games were hard because u were 10 Y’all are in y’all 30s and 40s, y’all should know how to play Pokémon

@LibertasRedux I would put the low lvl Pokemon as the starter then go fight high lvl but immediately switch to my high lvl so the low lvl would share the exp and it would gain like 10 lvls per fight

This shit is so factual! This whole time i been wanting my Nephew to play Pokemon. Im like that game build character. It really dont any more. That shit is a cake walk. Played Sword recently amd the game is totally different from what it was when i was younger. Its sad. Everything is changed and not for the better. New times we in and im afraid its never going back for anything

I just want kids to understand - unless you had a specific magazine or book (which barely any of us did.) There was no “guide” You just had to figure it out 😭

@God91In Fortnite. I keep telling people. It broke the industry.

A game can come out now and be completely broken on release, lagging, poor connectivity, missing content, but one thing that’s fully functional is that item shop to spend money

what is this video. There's no conclusion, no argument, no point, no rationale. This video only makes sense if you fill in the blanks with that genre of man's logical leap which will conclude in smt. Otherwise, just words floating about

wrong take re: fortnite You can pay tog et whatever cosmetic you want, but you got 0 in game advantage Went through my whole teenager years + pandemic grinding through building patterns just to know how to not loose every game in the first 10 min, and everyone had to do the same, no matter how much you paid for agree on everything else tho

"no meta" Hiperbeam Snorlax says otherwise

My first squirtle was named KKKbomb when I was in 7th grade when red and blue came out. He fucked the final four up I prepared so hard because they said if you died you would have to start over. I thought it meant I had to start the game over. I put the whoop on Giovanni so bad.

@xxDTECHxx @DrScratchansnif

Mama never had the missing0 infinite rare candy glitch

@Christy4Change A home that's owned used to be one price and you'd own it forever. Now people rent, never own, never could own.

Everyone gets a trophy mentality sucked when it started.

Facts! That Oddish or Weepinbell that you didn't want in your party will soon be joining after that loss to Misty and Brock because you chose Charmander as a starter.

To anwser your main question: It's because they don't care about the lore/story anymore. It's about asthetics nowadays and this is sad.

Yea life lessons are real in this game

Exp All is in R/B/Y 🤓

He is on point. Especially the rival. What a move. Always picking second... even the thief from Gen 2 gets 2nd pick lol.

bro after playing all these games i’m now ceo of the “unemployment company” but yeah i got you

This is exactly why I refuse to pay for any micro transactions for my son. I tell him all the time “figure it out. That’s what I had to do.”

I asked my girl who had never played pokemon or really any video game which one she wanted to start with. 2D or 3D? Grinding or Handholding? LeafGreen or one of the new ones? She said without hesitation the original 2D one. She’s enjoying it a lot. I did tell her the new games have EXP share and she chose the challenge anyway. This video is spot on.

After a while you were supposed to get an item that distributes experience points to your whole squad every battle

The world runs on instant gratification. Attention spans don’t last a day, let alone a week anymore.

@Fe3t Dawg fighting the Elite 4 on Gameboy was not for the faint at heart
