This is the part that I don’t understand. Studios like @insomniacgames say they want “realism” but slap these segments in their games. Which is it? Because when people point these out they get instantly labelled something and Insomniac and many more western studios/publishers crawl under a rock victimising themselves. Also, wtf is wrong with female characters as of late in Western AAAs? Absolute detriment to women, let alone the games and studios/publishers. This whole sequence is the perfect example of a Male Replacement. What happened to actually create characters? If such liberties like these are already taken, why not? How the f’ do you explain MJ doing all of this, when you say “realism” is your aim? Whats even more interesting is that player agency only exists if it fits their argument too.
