Dude thinks he may have found a way to explain the Trinity without committing heresy, by likening it to Neapolitan ice cream.

But does the strawberry proceed from only the chocolate or does it proceed from the chocolate and the vanilla?

Anytime you use earthly things to describe the Trinity, you will inevitably commit heresy. The Trinity is unlike anything else in existence. It's impossible to strip it down to a simple physical example.

The fact that people go to great lengths to describe an extrabiblical doctrine exposes not only how illogical it is, but how much success the enemy has had in sowing confusion about who Yahweh truly is,

So the Father is a fraction of God, the Son is a fraction of God, and the Holy Spirit is a fraction of God? Who’s gonna tell him that’s partialism? Nobody can explain well, even with the best philosophical points… because it doesn’t make any sense… nor is it biblical

you don’t need low iq analogies, and the fathers already told us the doctrine of the trinity thousands of years ago. +St. Basil the Great: “We confess one essence and three hypostases, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Letter 236

The trinity doctrine is heresy. The reason you have to use ice cream etc, is because it's not in God's word. The fullness of the godhead is all in Jesus of Nazareth.

I use the egg. It has a shell- it has the yolk and it has the egg white. All are essential to the egg- each is separate while also being one- each has its own identity and purpose while also all working together as one

The Trinity is not hard to understand when you properly understand that God is the category or nature that three distinct persons belong to.

The amount of accidental modalists in these replies..... Stop using analogies. Use the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed. The American tendency toward 'simplistic answers' *ALWAYS* ends up creating heresy or watering down the Christian faith when applied.

The parts of neopolitan can exist separate of each other as something else. Chocolate can exist separate from neopolitan. Christ cannot exist separate from the Father. He's just repeating the modalism analogy of three states of water. Trinitarianism is just tritheism at best.

Water at its triple point. Solid, liquid, and gas all exist at the same time, all are H2O, and yet all are distinct at the same time, in the same location, at the same temperature, and at a the same pressure

Partialism is still heresy as each flavor us only one third of the whole tub of ice-cream. Each member of the Trinity is fully God.

Strawberry isn’t Neapolitan. Vanilla isn’t Neapolitan. Chocolate isn’t Neapolitan. With the other two, you do not have Neapolitan ice cream. If you’re going to use this analogy, the category isn’t ice cream = God, because there are other ice creams. The category is Neapolitan ice cream = God, but none of the flavors is completely Neapolitan.

People over complicate the trinity. We are also a trinity, as we are made in the image of God. Mind - Father Body - Son Spirit - Holy Spirit

As Jesus said - "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3) It's very simple. Jesus was praying to the Father -> "the only true God". He alone is God. Jesus Christ is his Son & agent ambassador.

Partialism is still heresy, strawberry is not Neapolitan chocolate is not Neapolitan nor vanilla, all three sure but individually they are not so still heresy

Which member of the Triune Godhead has to be vanilla? Jesus is white in a lot of the photos…but the Holy Spirit is a dove… And are we defining vanilla as bland or as “classic?” The Father and the darkness thing makes Him chocolate. Does the strawberry have actual strawberry pieces or is just flavor? Cuz if it’s the pieces one - then Holy Spirit hands down. Don’t ask me to explain the reasons for the pieces thing, it passes understanding.
