Imagine going through TSA and watching them rip open your $200 Destined Rivals ETB at the airport 😭✈️ At that point I’d be more stressed about the ETB than missing my flight. Intern Tyler came in at 6:00 this morning. Dude had finals this week. Works 20 hours at FedEx and Hanna Golf per week. He’s a unicorn. A throwback. Not many 20 year olds have his work ethic. His only request - to have GameDay on the TV in the shop. Lucky to have him.

Let’s check in on today’s Pokemon criminals. Video is from a LCS in my area catching the dude in the hat stealing product off the shelf and walking out. He spent 10 days in jail and is now under a year of probation along with all the court fees. My questions… are people really this desperate for product that they are willing to risk jail time? Also you have to know going into a card shop that there’s almost a 100% guarantee that there’s cameras watching every inch of the store. I guess I don’t understand the mindset doing this knowing all the risks and the almost 100% chance of getting caught. It’s almost suicidal.

Final day of my annual FOX Sports: NFL #nfltrainingcamp tour… I actually ALWAYS finish with the Kansas City Chiefs. Personally, I don’t think it’s wise to jump off the bandwagon, Patrick Mahomes II will be a full go because the dude attacks rehab unlike anyone else. Also Travis Kelce definitely the best shape I’ve seen him start a season in in a while. Looked fantastic out there. Always like spending the last day talking football with Big Red. Perfect way to end this tour! You guys agree with me about the #cheifs?

Out of Ryan Cohen’s entire interview, the line that should be burned into everyone’s brain is this: “If I were running the business, it would be making a lot more money.” That is the whole thesis. Not hype. Not memes. Not nostalgia. A founder-operator looked at eBay, saw one of the most recognized marketplaces on earth, saw billions being spent with barely any user growth, saw a company sitting on trust, traffic, collectibles, payments, authentication, and global commerce infrastructure… Basically said: This asset is wildly under-earning. That is why this matters. GameStop is not trying to buy eBay because it wants a bigger logo. Ryan Cohen is saying eBay should be worth much more, and he believes he can turn it into something worth hundreds of billions of dollars. GameStop’s proposal is reportedly $125 per share, valuing eBay around $56 billion, with Cohen prepared to push the offer directly to shareholders if needed. That is the biggest takeaway. He is not talking like a meme-stock mascot. He is talking like an owner. Cut the waste. Fix the machine. Use GameStop’s stores as physical commerce nodes. Build authentication, fulfillment, live commerce, collectibles, and marketplace trust into one ecosystem. The wild part? I believe him. Because Ryan Cohen has already shown what he does when people call a business dead. He cuts the fat. He protects the balance sheet. He ignores the noise. He lets the work speak. Wall Street keeps asking what GameStop’s plan is. This should be heavily regulated somehow more than it is
