I agree with him. Compacting trash into the can, making it near impossible to get it out, is a HORRIBLE habit. My parents used to do that, then assign ME to collect the trash, then punish me when I couldn't get the trash out because they'd sabotaged me. The only thing worse is putting wet trash in the kitchen garbage can.
