Due to absolutely ZERO good stuff on the telebox I randomly found a new Queen documentary on Prime… GETTTTTTTT IN!!! What a band 🙌👊🤘 The best in history in my opinion.. Wish I was born 20 years earlier and had got to see them??? Did any of you?!

Feels sooo good to be able to show both sides of Eva last night. Nectar was where I first found my place and identity in the industry— I was both the quirky political queen and the ballad glamazon. Back in January 2025 when I moved into my new home, I found Biscuit. He was being chased by dogs, and I took him in. Biscuit and I instantly bonded. He rode with me in my truck. He would chill on my shoulders when I walked around the house. He slept with me. He was truly my friend. When I posted about Biscuit when I found him, everybody loved him. He's was truly a unique cat. I didn't post about what happened to him, because it took me a long time to process. One day, earlier this year, Biscuit got out and was hit by a car. We never found out who did it. I was the one who found him. All I could do was bury him and mourn him. I've been around a lot of animals in my life. I love them, and I'll protect them at all costs. But I'll never get over losing Biscuit. Ever. The first pic is Biscuit when I found him. The others are when he settled in and I got him cleaned up. I miss you, buddy. I really do. Vale, Biscuit. Until I see you again.

I did something today that I haven’t done in years. We had some family in town for a funeral so we decided to take them shooting . We blew up an old piano I had bought several years ago that was just in a barn collecting dust. I got the first shot, and after a bit of trial and error, user error basically, I finally hit the target. The video isn’t great but you can see my enjoyment afterwards when I was jumping up and down.

I've been terribly sad about GoLemon shutting down. For the past two years, I haven't had to go to the market for my bulk grocery shopping. Even during Christmas, I'd order foodstuff from them to take to my parents too. They made my life so much easier. Sure, I had disagreements with their customer service sometimes, but my experience with them was largely good and they always did their best make it right. The last time I ordered from them, I complained about the pepper and they brought a new batch. The person who got in touch with me, Yinka, was incredibly warm and kind. GoLemon was a beautiful company that solved a real problem I lived with every month. It is clear their founders gave their all. I wish the team all the best in their future endeavours. Thank you for your great work, GoLemon 🍋, .jj 🍋.

From its humble beginnings at E3 2003, Metroid Prime 2 had rather large shoes to fill, and in my opinion it fills them nicely. The game is an absolute classic and honestly I find one of the more under-rated games in the series. I truly hope we see a Prime 2 remastered. Happy 20th

Cancer Diagnosis. When I was diagnosed with cancer 22 years ago, the first doctor I saw told me there was nothing wrong with me. It was only when I got a second opinion that the cancer was found. In Ashfield, there are around 540 new cancer cases every year. Yet only around 55% of cancers in Ashfield are diagnosed in the early stages. So if in doubt, get checked out, and get a second opinion. It was great to catchup with Cancer Research UK yesterday and see the work they have been doing recently.

July 1, 2015. Eleven years ago today… I never got to hear her cry. Our first baby, our daughter Ara was born still at 24 weeks. My wife and I got to hold her and say goodbye to the child we had hoped to say hello to and welcome into the world. My wife said she had my nose, and I said she had her eyebrows. She was beautiful. Eleven years later, I still think about her. Every July 1st, and a lot of days in between. The places we would have gone together. The daddy-daughter moments we would have shared. The father I would have gotten to be to her, alongside the two I get to raise now, her little brother and sister. Grief doesn’t really end. I think it just becomes something you carry differently as times goes on. I’ve learned that it’s okay. It doesn’t mean that I haven’t healed; it just means that I loved my little girl so much even before I got to meet her. But I do hold onto this hope that death isn’t the end of her story or ours. One day I’ll get to see her and hold her again, no more tears or goodbyes, just joy in God’s presence. Ara, I can’t wait to see you. If you’ve lost a child at any stage, in any way, I hope you feel seen. You’re not alone in still thinking about them even if the world has moved on. You’re not alone in still loving them. You’re not alone in wishing you could share moments with them, making memories together. You’re not alone in still missing a cry you never got to hear. I pray that you know that YOU are loved. 🙏
