I ran into this myself just last month when I was testing a glitch that changed Xane into a different character (Darros in this case) and I was wondering if it regularly happened with Xane, or was due to using Darros “Xane”.

Sounds like a feature. In a perfect world, you’d have alternate recruitment convos through Xane.
