Duke's final moments #FritztheCat

It's ironically funny that the only two characters in this movie who aren't full of bullshit (Duke and Harriet) are the only two people who get absolutely fucked up. Very sad but also extremely real

The fact that Fritz didn’t even notice his friends death is absolutely heartbreaking

the usage of billiards conveying a metaphor for one’s life, particularly their heartbeat, is pure genius. perhaps the most beautiful yet heartbreaking scene in this entire film.

When I first watched this one, it shocked me so much I had to pause the movie and go take a break. It was not what I expected. Watching it again, it’s clear Fritz was the villain in his own story the entire time and with that mindset the story made so much more sense.

I like this because it sorta represents the end of kid friendly cartoony shenanigans and shows us "no, we're NOT doing Elmer Fudd shit, he's REALLY dead" and to stretch it out as deep and detailed as this, such a radical move.

Duke was a real one he actually tried to help and save this stranger from getting himself killed... sadly, it's what ended him. The visuals of his heart and life going away... WAS JUST PHENOMENAL! Fritz was a bastard.

Was really blown away by this when I watched Fritz the Cat, there are times when a story is only really possible by maximizing its medium & this scene was a great example of that. To convey the wrecklessness of Fritz, the senselessness of Duke’s death, NEEDS animation to tell it

Why did he die so dramatically. It makes me think a little about if getting shot would have me feeling like this

Life just fucking stops sometimes.
