Wow 14 years. It sounds like just a number, but it feels really strange. First of all, I want to say thank you so much for loving us so consistently over these 14 years. Honestly, rather than us being the ones receiving congratulations, I feel like I want to congratulate you instead. Congratulations! It’s been 14 years, it’s our 14th anniversary! And these days, well, not the day after tomorrow, but in three days . . . wait, actually it is the day after tomorrow, right? The concert starts the day after tomorrow. Today we even went somewhere far and rented a really big hall to rehearse the stage movements. We practiced a lot together today, sang a lot too. Yesterday, the day before yesterday, we’ve just been stuck together, practicing nonstop. So I hope you’re really looking forward to this concert too, and once again, happy 14th anniversary. I think it’s going to be really fun. The members have been dropping spoilers and stuff, but for me . . . it’s really because you’ve been there for us that we were able to reach this 14th anniversary. It feels kind of amazing. Over these 14 years of promoting, meeting you all like this and while preparing for this concert, I’ve been thinking a lot about the past. Honestly, preparing for this concert feels the same as when we did one 10 years ago, so even the process and the members, it all feels kind of strange and surreal. I just hit 100k subscribers on YouTube and I'm stoked. Which is why I've decided to give this whole content creation thing a real shot. Starting today, I am going to stream consistently on Twitch and regularly upload to my channel. A little back story on how I got here. Before I created content I suffered from clinical depression after having my thyroid removed due to cancer. I would escape by watching streams and gaming videos to relax. One day I decided to just give it a shot. So I hooked up my computer and talked into a very cheap mic and started streaming. It went terribly, but honestly... I was thrilled. Then I took some of that footage and edited it down like I did with skate videos to some random song that reminded me of a model runway. Took forever to get done on my free time. I got one encouraging comment... And I was absolutely thrilled. These days I get comments from people who tell me what they're struggling through and how my videos helped them forget about it for an hour. And every time that happens, I'm reminded of why I do this. To pay back for all the times I was entertained when I was having a hard time. It seems so dumb, but man... I can't tell you what a stupid little video or silly stream can do for someone having a really hard time. I'm not sure if this is going to work... But I'm going to give it a try. Even if I fail, I'm not going to stop creating. I got exciting plans for the future but this is the first step. Where it takes me... I'm not sure. I hope you all come along. Regardless.
