Dune(1984) vs Dune(2021) Upgrade or downgrade?

Nothing beats the original

The 1984 you mean?

Total downgrade

Downgrade

Chani was def a downgrade.

Downgrade. Pussy Sandworm > Asshole Sandworm. If you disagree you're Baron Harkonnen

Dune - 1984 👍👍 Dune - 2021 💩💩

The original is better

the orginal is and will always be the shit...

Downgrade

Upgrade. Anyone who prefers the old movie is doing so for nostalgia sake.

What the hell is Jean Luc Picard doing here?!

The original is still goated

Upgrade. Dennis villeneuve is one of the best directors

Definitely an upgrade.

absolute downgrade. Everything that has improved is solely because of technology. Like better cameras and better CGI. Everything else is worse.

Definitely an upgrade

Replaced the worm with an assh0le.

Downgrade for sure.. except for the special effects

Dune 1984 most fully captures the sense of it as a religious narrative - like a 1950s Biblical epic Dune 2000 most fully captures the sense of it as a political intrigue - like BBC I, Claudius Dune 2021-4 is the best, most fully realized production of Herbert's novel overall

明显 84版的化妆师需要提高审美

Zendaya sucks

New dune is a upgrade obviously

You can't compare, come on man.

Upgrade

The original Dune is nearly as bad as the original Tron. Very clearly the newer movies and cast are better
