During a conversation with Evolution of Horror, the host pointed out that the last two installments leaned heavily into gore and carnage, asking what audiences should brace themselves for in #SCREAM7. 😶‍🌫️ Neve Campbell responded thoughtfully: “I think it’s not as gory, but there are definitely scenes that are... very gory, you know what I mean? I had felt that those last 2 were sort of, uh, went in a direction that was sort of off path with Wes, with how he did gore, or how he did the killings, and I had felt that for my personal preference, it was a bit far, ya know? Trump: I think it’s very sad, actually. I’m surprised that it wasn’t—you know—the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time. I just had my physical. You saw that. You saw the results of that particular test. I think that test is standard to pretty much anybody getting a physical—a good physical. We had the doctors at the White House and over at Walter Reed, which is a fantastic hospital, do it. I did a very complete physical, including a cognitive test. I’m proud to announce I aced it. I got them all right. You proud of me? Your husband would be proud of me for getting them all right. It’s a little risk. If I didn’t get them all right, these people would be after me. It would be not a good situation. But I think, frankly, anybody running for president should take a cognitive test. They say it’s unconstitutional, but I would say in that particular case, having a cognitive test wouldn’t be so bad. But when you take tests—medical, as a male—that test is very standard. I don’t know if it’s given to everybody, but it’s given just about. And it takes a long time to get to that situation… to get to a stage 9. I think that if you take a look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine, there was nothing wrong with him. If it’s the same doctor, he said there was nothing wrong there. That’s been proven to be a sad situation. And the autopen is becoming a very big deal. You know, the autopen is becoming a big deal because it seems that maybe it was the president—whoever operated the autopen. But when they say that was not good, they also—you have to look and you have to say that the test was not so good either. In other words, there are things going on that the public wasn’t informed [about], and I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor—if it’s the same or even if it’s two separate doctors. Why wasn’t the cognitive ability—why wasn’t that discussed? And I think the doctor said he’s just fine, and it’s turned out that’s not so. It’s very dangerous… this is dangerous for our country. Look at the mess we are in. You talk about all these questions on Ukraine and Russia. That would’ve never happened, as an example, if I were president. It would’ve never happened. The other thing—you have to say: Why did it take so long? I mean, this takes a long time. It can take years to get to this level of danger. It’s a very, very sad situation. I feel very badly about it. And I think people should try and find out what happened. Because I’ll tell you, I don’t know if it had anything to do with the hospital. Walter Reed is really good. It’s the kind of film that I wanted 'The Last Temptation of Christ' (1988) to be. But maybe it was because I dealt with the iconography of Jesus directly that I was not able to get certain aspects that I wanted. Harvey Keitel really felt that it’s what he was aiming for all his life; we had stumbled around it ourselves in the movies we made together, Keitel and myself. And we tried to get it directly in 'The Last Temptation of Christ', but it’s better the way Ferrara and he got it here — especially the confrontation with the image of Jesus in the church. And not just the obviously shocking part of it; it’s when he breaks down and cries and says he’s bad. There’s this beautiful ending with the boy leaving, then Keitel being shot in the car. And there’s the use of Pledging My Love by Johnny Ace, which we had in 'Mean Streets' (1973). In any event, it’s an exceptional movie, extraordinary — I mean, it’s not to everybody’s taste. I loved the themes, and the way Ferrara’s style is so straightforward. You cut into a scene with two women, and they’re naked and music is playing, and then suddenly Keitel is naked, in a sort of trance. Then you cut and you’re into another scene. It’s so strong you don’t need a style. Another example: he goes and gets shot up with some heroin from a woman who is obviously a junkie — it must be for real. So what do you need to know? ⛰️ I think I was standing for almost half of the flight time. Since I’ve just been dancing continuously from when I was young and doing things like that*, my body isn’t really in good condition. But now, since the situation was such that I had to keep going anyway, I told the flight attendant, “I’m sorry, but would it be okay if I stand for a bit?” ⛰️ When I say it like this, it sounds like I’m making a show of it, but I just wanted to tell you how much it meant to me/how sincere I was about it. Really. It’s not like “I did well, praise me.” It’s just that that one stage and you all were so precious to me**, so in my own way I tried saying this. Yes. * i think he meant having a lot of flights, sitting a lot and etc. ** like in that moment, the only things on his mind were how to get there on time for concert and ATINY video cr.
