He was brave but his fellow comrades didn't give proper cover fire and he fell there Note the last 3 seconds when the militant realizes he's about to get killed & opens fire on the lying SSG Major. With proper cover fire from his team,Maj Adnan could have been saved.

Imagine being so programmed you’re willing to die in order to keep up, a fabricated moral standard, killing for orders, risk your life for a person who is willing to do the same. Seems heroic in Hollywood films, however being this conditioned in real life, another thing entirely!

It was communication failure, armored vehicle could hit the terrorists but they didn’t, drone monitoring could inform at ground level but they didn’t. Yes, the SSG who received bullets, his legs amputated later and died in hospital, a brace soul . It happened in clean up phase.

On the Kostiantynivka direction, a ground robot evacuated a wounded Ukrainian Defender under Russian fire. Ukrainian soldiers from the Liut Brigade were caught in an enemy ambush. Russians opened heavy fire, and one soldier was seriously wounded. Despite this, he continued to withdraw on his own, firing back at the enemy. The brigade noted that evacuating the wounded soldier was extremely difficult: enemy drones were constantly circling above their positions, and any movement under fire could be fatal. Therefore, it was decided to use a ground robot for the rescue. Despite being hit by an FPV drone, the robot remained operational and delivered the wounded Defender to a safe place. 📹: Liut United Assault Brigade/Facebook

🇷🇺A Russian soldier carried a wounded comrade for more than two kilometers under the threat of a Ukrainian strike. The evacuation moment was captured on video, which was published on the brigade's Telegram channel. A group of assault troops came under attack by an FPV drone while carrying out a mission. One of the fighters was seriously hit: he sustained multiple shrapnel wounds and a severe leg injury. The platoon commander provided first aid, then took off his body armor, lifted the wounded soldier onto his shoulders, and carried him to the rendezvous point with the evacuation group. The post notes that the soldier risked his own life because he had to carry his comrade in an open area. Thanks to his heroism, the wounded man was able to survive. - FRWL

NEW: Local Arkansas meteorologist continues live tornado reporting as a fire broke out in his studio. Reporter Noah Simmons was seen covering his face after a studio light caught on fire in Johnson, Arkansas. “We just had a fire in the studio, but we’ve got two tornado warnings, so we’ve got to keep tracking this and covering this live,” Simmons said during the broadcast. The reporter with CBS affiliate KFSM-TV was alone in the studio and alerted the team that there was a fire. The station’s producer rushed in and was able to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. No one was injured.

This is one of my favorite Michael Jackson moments. During his 1996 Seoul world tour, a fan climbed into the crane on the stage as it ascended. Without missing a beat, without fear of his own safety from what could have been a crazed fan, MJ hugged him tightly to protect him from a fatal fall, until security lowered the crane. All while the fan was unconcerned for his own safety and was having the time of his life. MJ was the consummate professional with a heart that was too big for this world.

🇺🇦 A Ukrainian soldier was sitting alone in a trench when a Russian T-72B3 tank moved in front of his position. The fighter assembled and prepared an FPV kamikaze drone, launched it, and struck the rear part of the turret, disabling the tank. 🔺 After the Russian tank crew exited the damaged vehicle, they opened intense fire toward his trench. At that moment, a Ukrainian drone operator in a neighboring trench, who was covering his comrade, dropped munitions from a bomber drone, detonating them and neutralizing the tank crew — one was killed on the spot, while two others were wounded and later captured by members of a mortar unit.

Medal of Honor Monday 🇺🇸 David Bellavia earned the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary courage during the Second Battle of Fallujah in Iraq. When his squad was trapped under heavy enemy fire, Bellavia put himself in danger to protect his fellow soldiers. He entered a hostile house alone, and even after being wounded, he fought through close quarters combat and refused to back down when lives were on the line. His actions saved his brothers in arms and showed the kind of courage, faith, and sacrifice that define a true American hero. May we never forget men like David Bellavia. 🏅✝️

The combat footage follows “Mozzie,” an Australian combat medic serving with Med Team Alpha, during a combat mission in Stepnohirsk, where the group was tasked with clearing a high-rise building. Russian troops had taken up positions on one of the floors, forcing Mozzie and his team to push through the building floor by floor. 2:32 When they reached the occupied level, heavy fighting erupted at close range. 16:55 One of the soldiers was wounded, 17:10 and Mozzie immediately began rendering first aid. While he was treating the wounded man, the enemy threw a grenade, further escalating the situation. 18:34 The team held the position long enough to stabilize the wounded soldier before pulling him off the floor and moving him down through the building for casualty evacuation. Mozzie was recently killed in action in Ukraine. He is remembered by those who served alongside him as a dedicated combat medic who repeatedly put himself in danger to treat and evacuate wounded soldiers. This footage documents one of those missions and serves as a tribute to his service and sacrifice. RIP!!!!!!!

In Heat, after Neil McCauley and his crew rob the bank and find the LAPD waiting for them outside, they execute a maneuver widely identified by military analysts as an “Australian peel,” a leapfrogging fire-and-movement drill used by infantry to break contact with a superior enemy force. It’s basically a controlled retreat, where each man takes a turn moving back while the rest of the unit keeps firing. One man provides covering fire and gives the next man a verbal signal to move when there’s a break in enemy fire. In Heat, that signal is “Go!” The next man falls back to a new position and begins covering the others. The process repeats, allowing the whole unit to retreat while maintaining continuous fire on the enemy. The reason Neil and his crew are so proficient at this kind of tactical movement comes from Neil’s background, which is never explained in the film but was expanded upon in Heat 2, the novel the upcoming film is based on. Without spoiling the story, the novel reveals that at eighteen, Neil was arrested after robbing a 7-Eleven. Facing a parole violation that would send him back to prison, he was given the option of enlisting in the Army. Five months later, he was in Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division during the Tet Offensive. He crawled through Viet Cong tunnels and accompanied Army Rangers on long-range reconnaissance patrols. He was so skilled that the Rangers wanted to recruit him. He later took what he learned in Vietnam and refined those skills to become a more formidable criminal. The book also reveals that Neil and his crew spent time in the desert around Mexicali, Mexico, an isolated area that was perfect for running the kind of drills they would later use during armed robberies. This helps explain why the crew is so prepared when they come under fire. A maneuver like this only works in a real combat situation when the unit has practiced it together extensively. When they are first ambushed outside the bank, Chris immediately opens fire, giving Neil and Michael enough cover to reach the getaway car. Later, when they unknowingly drive toward a roadblock and their car and driver are shot up, they know exactly what to do. Chris gets out and begins laying down suppressive fire from a new position, initiating the first stage of the tactical retreat. When there’s a sufficient break in enemy fire, Chris yells “Go!” to Neil and Michael, who sprint forward. Once Neil reaches his next position, he begins firing. When it’s safe to move again, Neil yells “Go!”, giving Chris the signal to move. The crew keeps repeating this leapfrogging pattern as they fight their way through the roadblock, exactly the kind of break-contact movement Neil would have been trained to use if his patrol was ambushed in Vietnam.

Ukrainian Soldier Miraculously Survives Two Shots to the Head in Close-Quarters Combat An intense close-quarters fight inside the ruins of a heavily damaged village house. As one soldier moves forward to throw a grenade, he’s suddenly hit by a burst of fire from Russian positions, with two rounds striking his helmet in rapid succession and knocking him down. Despite the heavy impacts, he survives and quickly gets back up. His teammate pulls him behind cover. The soldier then throws the grenade while his comrade provides suppressive fire. Both continue engaging the enemy. The moment shows how fast situations unfold in close-range combat, where survival depends on coordination, quick reactions, and the gear holding up when it matters most.
