This show really IS far too early for him. This is not the time - he needs to talk it all out and good friends and family to carry him for awhile longer. Perhaps he will a meet a friend that stays a caring friend after the cameras have gone away.

He should not be on he programme. Not ready and a wasted space. Typical tv to put in drama rather than people that are ready to be matched Better tv to have tears etc. disappointed

Feel for the man but not sure this is something you tell someone on a first date. Too much too quick and too soon for him to be with someone else

The fella was probably put in for his relevant back story, but it’s too soon for him as he’s clearly still grieving the loss of his wife.

Its too soon for him, you can still all that pain in his eyes… just wanna give him a hug!! Xx

He’s not ready

Poor roger and family. His daughter said this is a way of giving him permission to meet someone . It’s not permission he needs it’s time he is not ready

We are thinking of all the widowed parents like Roger on @MyMumYourDadUK who are rebuilding their lives, one step at a time 🩵

Both he and daughter are grieving, tragic story🥲. Not ready for relationship but think he’ll benefit from friendships. Never know thou, can start relationship quite quickly if used to it for 40 years. Always surprised me how quick Paul McCartney was after Linda died
