From day one, I made it clear that we must restore dignity to our streets and communities. This is why we’ve invested in modern waste management equipment such as; payloaders, tippers, compactors and more to equip our agencies for the task ahead. But equipment alone is not enough. That is why I have reintroduced the monthly environmental sanitation exercise — every last Saturday of the month from 7:00am to 10:00am — as a collective effort to clean our surroundings, restore order, and safeguard public health. This is more than a policy; it is a movement. A clean Edo is a healthy Edo, a safe Edo, and an attractive Edo for investors. I call on every citizen and resident to join hands with us — sweep your gutters, clear your drains, tidy your markets and streets. This is our shared responsibility. Findings also revealed that; 1 The government of Delta state is constructing an access road in Edo state without the permission of Edo state Government nor Urhonigbe community. 2 The access road will be use to move drilling rigs and drilling equipment to the oil exploration location. 3 The drilling location captured delta state while the access road that is being constructed is in Edo soil Urhonigbe.
