From day one, I made it clear that we must restore dignity to our streets and communities. This is why we’ve invested in modern waste management equipment such as; payloaders, tippers, compactors and more to equip our agencies for the task ahead. But equipment alone is not enough. That is why I have reintroduced the monthly environmental sanitation exercise — every last Saturday of the month from 7:00am to 10:00am — as a collective effort to clean our surroundings, restore order, and safeguard public health. This is more than a policy; it is a movement. A clean Edo is a healthy Edo, a safe Edo, and an attractive Edo for investors. I call on every citizen and resident to join hands with us — sweep your gutters, clear your drains, tidy your markets and streets. This is our shared responsibility. This is mmediately after the river Ethiope that serves as the natural boundary. Findings also revealed that; 1 The government of Delta state is constructing an access road in Edo state without the permission of Edo state Government nor Urhonigbe community. 2 The access road will be use to move drilling rigs and drilling equipment to the oil exploration location. 3 The drilling location captured delta state while the access road that is being constructed is in Edo soil Urhonigbe.
