We are going to ensure—this is a personal commitment of all INDIA leaders—we are going to ensure that the people who have destroyed Indian democracy are punished. It doesn't matter how senior they are, who they are. Indian democracy is bigger than every single person in this country. So this is the discussion that was held. There was also a feeling in the room that the opposition has been quite successful in putting across to the people of India that elections are stolen, that PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have destroyed democracy. And there is a new sense of resistance, particularly among young people, that what is going on in India is wrong and needs to be stopped."

Referendums are foreign interference? It’s the same situation as Quebec?? In Canada there is the freedom of speech, expression and protest. Also the freedom to hold a referendum. Ladies and gentlemen, this is India’s high commissioner who yet again does not understand how democracy works. 🤦🏽‍♂️ India is shaking, why not let Punjab hold a referendum? A question that should be asked.

Eating flesh to free Punjab from Idolators and establish Khalsa raj. He thinks drug problem is because Idolators are ruling Punjab but i believe law and order is in the hands of Bhagwant Maan. Is this how they look at the 40% Hindu population living in Punjab? If you hate idolators or Hindus then minority Hindus living in Punjab are suffering. You are a minority in India 🇮🇳 but a majority in Punjab. This is disheartening to know how intolerant they are towards other religions. This is Adharmic.

The deeper reason this protest has taken place is that the Indian system - the job creation system, the education system, our institutions, and the media - has been destroyed. It has ceased to function. There are consequences to this. We are now facing a time of serious economic crisis, and in such times, you need these systems to function. The government should understand that. They should listen to what the people of India are saying. It is a warning from the students of India and a warning from the Opposition that you cannot continue to run India the way you have been running it. This country does not belong to you. It belongs to the people of India. It belongs to the Constitution of India. These institutions do not belong to you either. If you continue down this path, what has happened today will unfold on a scale ten times greater. : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi
