Some of my storyboards from the opening of The Wild Robot. I liked the idea of the first shot in the film (after the pull-out from her eye) being Roz in a fetal position for "The Robot Hatches." But the idea got lost as it went through the production pipeline. I ended up using some stock photography and videos for some of the water in this scene. I think because the environment was such a character for us in these opening scenes. The photography seemed to help me to sell the contrast between Roz and the wilderness.

Additionally, BLA militants have claimed that they broke into vaults at Faisal Bank and four other banks and took away large amounts of cash. Several BLA militants were also killed in clearance operation, as per the visuals that came out.

How are insecure attachments repaired? This week I’ve been exploring the concept of attachment (a deep emotional bond created between parents and their children during the earliest months and years of life). In doing so I’ve focused primarily on the goal of secure attachment. But not all attachments begin securely. Which begs a pair of questions: What causes insecure attachments and how can they be strengthened? While anxious and disorganized attachment types can certainly result from erratic parenting, the toxic stress created by unsafe environments, and/or abuse and neglect, it’s important to keep in mind that early relational challenges occur on a broad spectrum of severity and sometimes aren’t the result of any parental shortcoming at all. In fact, some root causes may not even be within parental control. Children born extremely prematurely, for example, may spend weeks or months in a neonatal intensive care unit. While essential to their survival, the situation can limit early interaction with even the most attentive and well equipped parents. What else might impact attachment quality? The list is likely a long one. Severe postpartum depression, a prolonged military deployment… anything that might present a barrier to strong relational health between a parent and child. In complex (traumatic) cases of disorganized attachment, families may require a combination of specialized infant mental health services, therapy, and other professional supports. But in many cases the solution is as simple as a heaping dose of what was missing in the first place: predictably warm and responsive interactions. Children are remarkably resilient - and while it may take time to create updated patterns of interaction and establish them as the “new normal,” insecure attachments can often become secure with focused effort. $BREAKING: Ryanair passenger reportedly saved from being sucked out the cabin after window fails during a flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen. According to local media Ryanair flight FR1879, a Boeing 737-8AS, returned safely to Greece on Friday after part of a damaged engine reportedly detached and struck a cabin window. A 61-year-old man, who is from Serbia upon the return of the plane, was taken to AHEPA and will undergo a CT scan to see if he has fractures. Speaking about the incident, the president of POEDIN (Panhellenic Federation of Public Hospital Employees), stressed that there was almost a tragedy, as a window was broken, the body of a passenger came out in the air and was restrained by his wife. A South Asian Muslim man was violently attacked and injured shortly after arriving at the Islamic Cultural Center of New York on April 19 in Manhattan, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) says. “The incident began as a minor vehicle collision but quickly escalated into a severe physical assault. Some of my colleagues and friends, especially from Mumbai and southern parts of India, ask me why I honk so frequently while overtaking or at crossroads The driving style in the northern parts of India, especially in Uttar Pradesh, is unique. They value their convenience over their lives, often neglecting to look around before switching lanes or making turns. They believe that if someone is crossing, they’ll simply honk to let them know. This mentality contributes to the high fatality rate on highways in Uttar Pradesh After driving on these roads for around 14 years, I’ve developed the habit of honking while passing trucks and buses, ensuring a margin of braking distance for sudden maneuvers by riders spitting paan, cattle appearing out of nowhere, people crossing without looking and of course, wrong-way driving Notice the timestamps between the two clips - such incidents occurred twice in five minutes during a 6 hour drive. If I were to compile all these instances, it would be like watching a short movie Though the speed may appear slow in the video, it was mostly around 100 km/hr. However, I had to brake heavily, hence the frustration with prolonged honking Some people might comment, ‘You shouldn’t overtake from the left.’ However, there’s another unsaid rule here - most trucks drive on the rightmost lane.

Our first test flight is just the beginning! Behind the scenes, we are focused on up-scaling and improving our technology. We are excited to announce that we have successfully tested the central subsystem of our Helix 2.0 oxygen-rich staged-combustion engine: the powerpack. We have performed two successful hot-fire tests in which we have shown steady-state operation and cavitation limits. The powerpack incorporates the turbopump and pre-burner(s). It is the most complex as well as the most mechanically and thermally stressed subsystem of a staged-combustion engine. This milestone validated key technological challenges, such as the simultaneous ignition of multiple pre-burners and turbopump cavitation performance. The results are in-line with the predictions from our design models. The closed-cycle architecture of Helix allows us to push the performance envelope further: Helix 2.0 is designed to deliver double the thrust (200kN), while mass, production technology and costs remain comparable to Helix 1.0.
