Texas: The Game Preserve fire ran 4,250+ acres the last couple days North of Huntsville in Walker County. Very active fire behavior was seen. #txfire #wildfire Temps will be in the 100s this week and Fire activity is expected to continue in the Region. The South is currently at a PL5. The house was saved. Thanks to the subscribers that shared these 📷. 🙏

Traditional physics-based models struggle with extreme rainfall, often overestimating light events while underestimating extreme precipitation. Our new hybrid climate model, NeuralGCM, more accurately simulates extreme rainfall, mean precipitation (with a 40% bias reduction compared to CMIP6 models), and the diurnal cycle of precipitation. These improvements are a direct result of training the model on NASA satellite observations, not just reanalysis data.

Stage 2 testing is officially underway at NASA Stennis 🚀 The campaign kicked off with successful cryoproof, loading the stage with cryogenic fluids and pressurizing it beyond expected flight loads to validate its structural integrity, followed by COPV manifold proof testing to verify the high-pressure system that will pressurize propellants during flight. These tests also marked the activation of A2, bringing together the infrastructure, flight hardware, ground and vehicle software, and the integrated team of test, launch, and vehicle engineers.
