Half of these people that need help can't even see this bc they have no internet or POWER FFS! Let’s say you have a home insurance policy and the damages to your home exceed what the insurance company is going to provide. We now offer up to the statutory limit, which is $42,500, for any additional assistance you might need for your home that wasn’t covered by your insurance. We also provide displacement assistance. For example, if you want to stay on a friend’s couch because it’s easier for you — maybe you have pets and can’t take them to a hotel — we will now reimburse you for funding if you’re displaced from your home. We also offer serious needs assistance, which is a one-time $750 payment for things like food, medicine, or any immediate supplies you may need. We’re really here to help people. Like I said, entrepreneurs and independent business owners — the SBA provides small business loans for people who need to get back on their feet. But really, we want to make sure we’re reaching as many people as possible.
