He says he rapped a verse from a Jay-Z song during a freestyle battle without anyone realizing it, and the judges were so impressed they flew him out to the Bay. He recorded a demo, burned it onto CDs, and started selling them. It got to a point where it was just watching a man unravel. But him saying that to you that I was right about him abandoning his kid is good. Everyone fucks up, it’s about facing it. I don’t believe this life is the end, and we all die. What’s even worse than a bad dad is one that denies it. Him saying that speaks very highly of him in his final days and I hope he is at peace. It wasn't until Sun saw Jay bleeding that he finally understood how much Jay meant to him.
