Let's get spinning. I am in a MAT (Multi Axis Trainer or Mercury Astronaut Trainer) at the Marshall Space Flight Center. This trainer was used to expose the Mercury astronauts to excessive rates in roll, pitch and yaw should the capsule experience the same in orbit. The aim was to expose the astronauts to such rates so that they can control the space capsule in spite of being under such extreme rates. Though the requirement never arose during the Mercury program and the training was stopped, Neil Armstrong experienced such a situation years later. While docking with the Agena vehicle during Gemini 8 mission, a thruster malfunction caused excessive rates. Armstrong had to takeover manually and bring the situation under control. Incidentally you don't feel sick in this trainer as your stomach is at the center always. However, if you were to close your eyes the brain would play tricks on you due to the sensory conflict and you may feel nauseous. Something I was not ready to try. This wife was trying to burn a small pile of brush while her husband was out of town. Then things went wrong. 💯 She has a gasoline can right by the fire. 🤯 I can imagine that husband’s face if he was watching the camera and seeing this transpire. At least she didn’t panic. 😂 Guess she realized she was the only adult around. When I used to live in the country I always got nervous when my neighbors burned their brush or trash. A friend of mine almost had his whole ranch burned down because a neighbor’s trash burn got out of control. Never have a gasoline can by a fire. Never. She is incredibly lucky. Have you ever seen a small burn get out of hand? Ever let a small burn get out of control?

I saw a lot of guys around the league with 40, 30 bases that you don't usually normally expect to be running that much. Especially with how the game's changed with the pickoffs and the pitch clock, I think that's one way we can utilize, or at least I can utilize some of my skills a little bit more, getting into scoring position. With the lineup we have, this was probably the best offense in all of baseball last year. If I can find a way to get myself in scoring position, if they're going to walk me or do something, then some good things are going to happen."

I don't know where to start... I'm watching Pouria Hamidi's Youtube videos, as both an Iranian and also a gamer. I ask you all to visit his Youtube page, and watch his video essays. See the kind of young, talented, beautiful souls we've lost. Even though he got barely any views, he was so passionate and his videos are perfectly edited. Pouria made them out of love and passion for video games, not to chase fame or attention. Such editing skills and perfect English, from a young brilliant man stuck under a barbarian regime holding him down all his life. His Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 video is absolutely amazing. Only 100 people saw it. 4 left a comment. And he made the video because he wanted to be part of the community around the game, in whatever little way he could. Every day I write about the importance of players creating mental framework for their game in order to compete in their High Performance Mindset. And I get asked all the time, by both players and coaches “What do these frameworks look like? What’s actually in them?” Below is a clip from my conversation with Glenn Crooks of SiriusFM. And in this clip, I’m detailing a couple of mental techniques I might use with players to help them establish their mental playbook. During the clip I talk briefly about the work I did around 18 years ago with the West Ham striker Carlton Cole. Carlton very generously wanted me to write about the work we did together in my first book Soccer Tough (a book that Gareth Bale kindly said changed his life). So listen below… There was obviously far more to Carlton’s mental playbook, but changing his objectives for games, helping him manage the inner impulses that he experienced prior-to playing and during playing, and helping him feel he ‘belonged’ on a Premier League pitch - combined, these were part of the many things he did to help him break into the first team and then get a few England caps. NEW: 62-year-old White man randomly chased down and attacked by a group of black thugs during his nightly walk ‘I no longer want to live here’ The 62-year-old was walking around 7 p.m. on July 15 when a group of thugs began to harass him “He raised his fists and said pick one and I said ‘not interested,'” the man said — “I thought it was just a kid joking around” He was punched several times before fleeing, with the assault continuing off camera “I don’t know, maybe that set them off or something, I don’t know but they were looking for trouble,” he added The thugs fled when others came to help him on the road The 62-year-old man sustained bruises on his knee and needed stitches in his finger “His mouth is all messed up. Rajon Rondo gives his thoughts on the new-look Philadelphia 76ers and why he believes LeBron James could have them in position to win it all: “Brilliant move. I mean, he's got arguably the young best point guard in the game. I think he averaged 30 points a game this year. Bron is, like, you know, the king on the chessboard. You know, he has a lot of all the pieces, all the right pieces to make the right moves. we all know he's, he's a great basketball, one of the greatest basketball minds to play the game. If you give him these type of pieces to play with, you know, I, I'm an early bet with them being the favorites to win. You know, and my, and my book, I'm not a bettor, but if I was to bet, I would bet the Sixers early. Like I said, he Embiid, all those guys, no, like, nobody has to play 82 games. they can all spread out. You know, you got the, the combination of the hunger, the hot combination of wanting to prove something a lot of people talk bad about. You know, obviously, the JB'S, Bron and Embiid, you got a nice combination of guys that have a lot of fuel and a fire left at the proof something this year and again in the playoffs. They get to the playoffs healthy. LeBron on the court, you know, the player he is. Obviously, we all know who he is. He has Tyrese Maxey as, as a weapon. He has JB. Um, he doesnt have to play any defense. He can talk the entire backs out on defense side of the ball, put guys in the right spot, and then again in fourth quarter control and manipulating outsmart whoever is the opposite best player on the team. And he doesn't have to do it physically so much with his mind, because he has better weapons around him now—young, athletic guys that can do a lot of and play multiple, you know, multiple positions. And then again, if, if Embiid gets to the playoffs with LeBron, if he listens to LeBron and follows his lead, you know how he's a, he's a pro. And like I said, they get all the juju out of that organization. Everything, you know, good karma happens for those guys. They got a great chance to get it done.”

Ariana Madix recalls when she caught her boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, cheating on her with her best friend, Raquel. She says she was holding his phone while he was performing a song, and felt a divine intervention in that moment. She says she’s not someone who likes to snoop because she knows she’ll find something she doesn’t want to see, as that’s been the case in her past relationships. But she went through his phone anyway and found evidence of him cheating in his camera roll. “I was holding my phone and his phone just kinda as a stack. There’s nothing weird about that, we were together for 9 years. Me holding on to his phone, his laptop. So they had like one more song, then afterwards I got up to go tell him good job and give him his phone back, and he was talking to some other band members so he was a little preoccupied. And then literally in that moment, it felt like a divine intervention or something. l've always been very hesitant to become the snooper because I always feel like anytime you snoop in anyone's stuff even if they're not guilty of doing anything wrong you always end up finding something you don't want to find or seeing something you don't want to. I've been like that in past relationships. So in this one I was like I'm not going to do that and if I ask about something I will take Tom's word. I will be someone who trusts. I just had this thought, this is a time to do it. So I went into the bathroom at TomTom, he had not changed the passcode on his phone. We knew each other’s passcodes. So, it felt like if you were going to be the type of person who is going to have an affair or be cheating or hiding things, you wouldn’t also be so readily giving of your stuff like that. And so I looked in his messages. There was nothing weird. And I was like, “Okay, maybe you’re being dumb.” And then I opened up his camera roll and then that’s when I saw what I saw. And I busted out of the stall.”
