Benetti and Dirks are spectacular in the booth but at times it feels like I’m listening to a podcast or something. They know a ton about baseball yet spend so much time shouting out their producers and people that we don’t know or care about. Or constructing random inside jokes

In an absolute pinch, shampoo works in place of body wash, and conditioner works in place of shaving gel. But not on the regular.

The best part of live sports is when the conversation suddenly has nothing to do with the game. Andy Dirks and Jason Benetti proved that great broadcasts aren't just built on analysis. They're built on chemistry, personality and the random debates that make fans feel like they're watching with friends. For the record, shampoo can work as body wash in a pinch... but it definitely isn't the same thing.....
