Great work! I could image the difficulty adapting a full book into a short trailer so I applaud you. Seems like a cool story with a lot of layers and complexity so I will have to check it out. You have good consistency with the characters. My only complaint might be the music at the beginning didn’t seem to match the tone but I could be wrong

The music in the beginning was used as the book, at least for me, starts more like a film noir detective story rather than a complex sci-fi thriller. It was not easy to adapt an entire novel. But as I got the idea pretty early while reading, I marked a lot of pages.

How mind blowing is my Pixar-Style intro video? I used MiniMax Design (H3) new #HailuoUnlimitedFrames (Start / End Frames) after training a LoRA on my animated character and used Black Forest Labs 's Flux to generate the images. I also used Freepik (now Magnific) for image editing & video generation (before MiniMax gave the free 7 days!) I wrote the script by myself. Then, used to generate a custom voice. just dropped my first video in a 5 part series where we build a full travel planner app on Replit and i am so excited 🌍✈️ as a software engineer, design has always felt a little out of reach for me. like i had all these ideas in my head but turning them into something that actually looks good was a whole other skill set. but the Replit Canvas genuinely changed that for me. my favourite way to use the Canvas is to bring in reference images and websites to help me to create designs! in this first video we jump into the Canvas, explore design directions for our travel app, and apply a final look to a real working app. it is so fun i promise. go watch it and let me know what you think 🎨👇

The False Memory OST finally dropped a couple days ago and I’ve been waiting for this specific soundtrack to release ever since i first heard it back in 2024 when it was first used in a trailer. When this trailer first dropped, It was my first time ever hearing about False Memory and I was completely blown away by it, not only by its visuals but by the soundtrack, holy fucking shit man it felt like I was ascending to a higher plane of existence. Hands down the best animated trailer ever made, the visual direction paired with this incredible soundtrack is nothing short of generational. For the past 2 years, I was so obsessed with this trailer I couldn't stop rewatching it, I just knew this series was gonna be a fucking masterpiece when it officially released. I cannot wait to re-watch it again in the near future.

I’ve always been a huge anime fan, especially Chainsaw Man. So I wanted to push my limits a bit and try creating a live-action version of Denji vs. Katana Man. Since anime fight scenes are known for their insane speed and intensity, translating that energy into live action became a challenge I genuinely enjoyed. This whole sequence was built using an image-to-video workflow with MiniMax Design (H3) 02 and Kling AI 2.5 Turbo, with the base images from Nano Banana Pro on Freepik (now Magnific) . Edited in CapCut Pro and upscaled with Topaz Labs for that final punch. Such a wild experiment, but honestly super fun to make. What do you think about the result?

The first stories were written for him, which years later, becomes more special as time goes on. I was a little nervous for this interview particularly, but almost immediately as myself and Ian met him, he made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. I felt an immense responsibility to ask questions that would be a) interesting for him but b) be interesting as well as informing for the listener and by extension the Thomas fandom. Yesterday I came across this amazing Animated Cinematic Neo-Noir style in Midjourney, and instantly saw all its potential. It was perfect for The Matrix, with a touch of John Wick 🕶️🔫 So I generated a few images, then animated them with Grok Imagine, adding some dialogue, and just like that, in a short time, I created this fun short film. This is a workflow that works really well. The key is having an eye for styles and aesthetics, being able to immediately see what they’re good for. Because styles in Midjourney can seem useless if you don’t know how to use them, and absolute magic if you do. And that’s, in my opinion, one of the most important skills an AI artist should have: a good eye, good taste, and artistic vision. 👉 If you want to know this --sref, I’ll be sharing it today with my subscribers.

The publication date for RED SKY MOURNING has shifted to June 18th! This is a little later than expected as the book became the longest in the series by far. So, the bad news is that it comes out a little later than anticipated but the good news is that you get more James Reece. It is my favorite in the series thus far! I told myself when I started that I would never wrap up a story just because I hit a certain word count or because a deadline was looming. For me it is all about honoring the story and in turn respecting the reader or listener who has invested time with me and with James Reece. Will this be the last in the series? Find out on June 18th. I used to think 3D was way too much work for a quick creative idea Then I tried this workflow in MiniMax Design GPT-6 Astra can work with Blender to build the 3D scene from a natural-language prompt, which honestly changes how I think about 3D creation I don’t need to start by figuring out every Blender operation myself I can just describe the scene I have in mind and let Astra handle the technical side Then I can take that 3D result straight into H3 Max Turbo and turn it into a video And the speed here is no joke 15s video → 20s generation Starting at $0.018/s That makes experimenting with different ideas feel so much less expensive in terms of time But the more I use MiniMax Design, the more I realize 3D is only one part of it GPT Image 2.5 opens up another route — generate the visuals and storyboards first, then use H3 Max Turbo to bring those shots together into a video So now I’m basically playing with two different creative paths: Astra + Blender → 3D → H3 Max Turbo GPT Image 2.5 → Storyboard → H3 Max Turbo And having all of these connected inside MiniMax Design makes the whole process feel much more flexible Honestly, I started this just wanting to see what Astra could do with 3D Now I’m way more curious about what happens when I start mixing all these workflows together
