No rules are applicable to Nightlife during Ramzan in old city, Hyderabad. This month anyone can do triple riding, shops will be opened throughout the night and you can do anything. Is the same nightlife allowed during Dussehra ? Many of my requests to keep shops open ahead of Hindu festivals fell on deaf ears. Rules are rules for all right in democracy ?

[ BREAKING NEWS ] WATCH: KwaThema residents did not back down on their *#illegalsMustGo* operation. The Kwa-Thema community members who are gatvol of foreign owned spaza shops, they organized themselves and initiated their operations to shutdown all foreign owned spaza shops, they say they are tired of burying their kids because of fake and counterfeit goods sold by foreigners in their spazas. When community members, peacefully, ordered the foreigners to shutdown their business and vacate Kwa-thema because they were no longer needed the Pakistani, Bangladesh, Etheopians, Egyptians, Somalis etc allegedly came with about 20 cars, one van loaded with bricks, pangas, and self made weapons, others had guns which they were tackled by the metro police. The community members retaliated by damaging their vehicle that was left behind. The bakkie was flipped and set on fire allegedly by angry community members. The foreign national spaza shops owners ended up running away after they have seen that the angry community members are not backing down. The Kwa-Thema residents say they are gonna monitor the foreign owned spaza shops that were shutdown yesterday, to make sure that they don't open again. However, after being released, they usually resume issuing the same sort of hate speeches against Muslims as before. In India, they are considered bigger Hindu leaders who are more aggressive in their speeches against Muslims. In the BJP, these leaders win handsome rewards like election tickets or are given other plum party positions. The BJP-led Indian government and the Indian mainstream media often claim that minority Hindus in #Bangladesh are being persecuted. But can anyone present a single instance where a senior Muslim political or religious leader in Bangladesh has issued openly aggressive calls against minority Hindus, the way the BJP leaders in India often call for the social and economic boycott of minority Muslims? Can anyone show evidence of a senior Muslim leader in Bangladesh asking Muslims not to rent out houses to Bangladeshi Hindus, not to sell them land or a flat to them, or to boycott them socially and economically? Her statement is as follows: As a member of Congress, I introduced a resolution that called for the protection of Hindus and religious minorities in Bangladesh—people who continue to be targeted and persecuted to this day. Now, the height of this persecution actually began 50 years ago when the Pakistani army systematically murdered, raped, and drove from their homes millions of Bengali Hindus because of their religion and ethnicity. March 25th, 1971, was the beginning of a systematic targeting of Hindus in Bangladesh by the Pakistani military. It began in Hindu neighborhoods and villages, first at Jaganath Hall, which was a Hindu dormitory in Dhaka University, where 5,000 to 10,000 people were killed. On that first night alone, this genocidal campaign continued for 10 months, resulting in 2 to 3 million people killed, hundreds of thousands of women and girls raped, and more than 10 million forced to flee their homes. US Senator Ted Kennedy went to visit the Bangladeshi refugees at that time and said, quote, "Nothing is more clear or more easily documented than the systematic campaign of terror and its genocidal consequences launched by the Pakistan army on the night of March 25th. Hardest hit have been members of the Hindu community who have been robbed of their lands and shops, systematically slaughtered, and in some places, painted with yellow patches marked with an H." End of quote. The Islamist persecution of Hindus and other religious minorities in Bangladesh didn't end with Bangladesh's independence. In the early 1900s, Hindus made up roughly 33% of Bangladesh's population. Because of this persistent Islamist campaign targeting Hindus, just 8% of Bangladesh's population are Hindus today. Just a few days ago in Bangladesh, hundreds of hardline Islamist extremists attacked Hindu temples, destroyed a train, set fire to government buildings at the press club and public buses, leaving dead and injured behind. Unfortunately, the Islamists' campaign of terror against Hindus, other religious minorities, secularists, atheists, and others in Bangladesh is not unique. It's been going on for centuries, prior to US regime change wars in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, which either toppled or weakened secular authoritarian leaders who protected religious minorities from Islamist jihadists. There were 1.5 million Christians in Iraq and 2.2 million in Syria. Now there are an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 Christians in Iraq and 450,000 in Syria. Unfortunately, the Islamists' campaign of terror against Hindus, other religious minorities, secularists, atheists, and others in Bangladesh is not unique. It's been going on for centuries, prior to US regime change wars in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, which either toppled or weakened secular authoritarian leaders who protected religious minorities from Islamist jihadists. There were 1.5 million Christians in Iraq and 2.2 million in Syria. Now there are an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 Christians in Iraq and 450,000 in Syria. Afghanistan was a very multireligious country, which included Hindus, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians, prior to the Islamist takeover. Today, it is estimated there are around 1,000 Hindus who remain. Religious minorities make up less than 1% of Afghanistan's population. Until the leaders of the United States and the world condemn and commit to defeating the Islamist exclusivist ideology—an ideology which holds that all non-Muslims and many so-called "heretical" Muslims need to be wiped from the face of the earth, enslaved, or at the very least kept as second-class citizens without the right to own land, worship openly, etc.—like in Pakistan, the jihadist campaign of terror will continue throughout the world. Sharia court in Abuja? This man said he is a Christian. That he built 4 shops and gave one out for rent. One day, some people came that they are from the sharia court and that the shops would be auctioned. He said, but he has no case in court. He was summoned to the Sharia Appeal court, and though a Christian, he obeyed tp show them his documents because he doesn't want any trouble. They seized the documents and said they want to carry out investigations, only to come out later to seal the shops. If this is true, then one would ask how Sharia court can operate in Abuja and summon a Christian in the first place? You Muslims must speak up to condemn all these kind of reckless acts. If they are not registered within 21 days, they will be shut down immediately.
