🇹🇷 During testing, the Turkish 105mm howitzer BORAN fired 12 shots in 46 seconds. Is that useful on the battlefield?

not bad if you need some rapid fire for some moments - and you have only a few pieces at hand - but can't become a norm - I think.

Depends on the range and price, seems like a very short version with small footprint. If it can be produced quickly and at a low cost with a good range it might be pretty good and maybe even adapted into a autonomous combat vehicle.

I think it's 6 per minute. M777 does 20 per minute

If the first one hit the target the rest were probably a waste, if the first one missed then the rest probably did too, which also seems like a waste. 🤷‍♂️
