During the 2008 Hogenakkal issue, Rajinikanth openly criticized the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, DMK led by M. Karunanidhi, as well as the national party BJP. He bravely spoke against all political parties and said: “அரசியல் லாபத்திற்காகவும் தேர்தலுக்காகவும் நாடகமடாதீர்கள்.” - Rajinikanth However, in 2010, Drama queen Vijay bowed and...

Vaa Saravanaa Vaa – DMK should be the last party to talk about backstabbing! Let me list the history of backstabbing by your leader, Karunanidhi: - Karunanidhi was never among the top five founding members of the DMK in 1949. No one knows how many he backstabbed to rise to prominence. - After defeating Congress in 1967, Karunanidhi allied with Indira Gandhi’s Congress in 1971, backstabbing his earlier stand. - After Annadurai’s death, Karunanidhi used MGR to become CM in 1969, then expelled and backstabbed him in 1972. - Claiming to be a puritan rationalist, he allied with JP in 1977 after Indira Gandhi dismissed his government for corruption in 1976, hoping to escape the Sarkaria Commission. When it failed, he backstabbed JP and allied with Indira Gandhi again in 1980. - Throughout the 1980s, he took a dubious stand on the Sri Lankan Tamil issue, backstabbing Sri Lankan Tamils. - While MGR supported the LTTE for emotional reasons, Karunanidhi exploited the LTTE and backstabbed the Sri Lankan Tamil cause for political gains from 1989 until his death. - Karunanidhi backstabbed and dumped existing allies to align with the brand-new TMC led by Moopanar because he knew it would give him some credibility among voters in 1996. - Karunanidhi backstabbed the same Moopanar by stopping him from becoming the Prime Minister of India in 1996 and 1997. - Karunanidhi suddenly wanted a stable government in 1999 and hence backstabbed his own puritan rationalist stance by aligning with what he had called the ‘Pandaaram and Paradesi party’ (BJP). - Karunanidhi and his party held lucrative portfolios under the BJP government from August 1999 to December 2003, then backstabbed the BJP to join Congress on the eve of the 2004 elections. - After enjoying absolute power from 2004 to 2013, Karunanidhi backstabbed Congress and pulled out of the alliance, anticipating future developments. Around the same time, he sought Congress’s support to get his daughter Kanimozhi elected as an RS MP. - In 2014, he nearly backstabbed his own past by aggressively pursuing an alliance with the BJP. Karunanidhi was the consummate embodiment of backstabbing. See you next time, Saravanaa! Saravanan Annadurai

If Udhayanidhi runs away from the bypolls, CM Vijay will mock him mercilessly! It is DMK that will be exposed during these bypolls because CM Vijay knows it will be a cakewalk for him. Ruling parties have rarely lost bypolls in Tamil Nadu, and we have seen this over the past 25 years. For DMK, it will be a Catch-22. Being the main Opposition party, if they boycott the elections, they will be mocked by everyone, especially after their confrontation with CM Vijay in the Assembly. Vijay may even sing a song from Vettaikaaran and say how he hunted down DMK. Even though I don’t want to use this word, “kozhai”, Vijay could portray it as an act of cowardice. If DMK contests and finishes third, behind ADMK, that would be a huge embarrassment for Udhayanidhi. Typical Catch-22. If DMK eventually backs off, CM Vijay need not attack ADMK at all. He can simply say, “Mattrum palar katchi EPS is not my competitor at all, and my main enemy DMK ran away.” In politics, identifying your main enemy is extremely important. CM Vijay seems determined not to give anyone else that political space, which is a brilliant strategy. Finally, I don’t expect CM Vijay to attack BJP aggressively because of his friendly relationship with Delhi and the fact that BJP remains a relatively minor electoral force in Tamil Nadu. Whether DMK contests or runs away, Vijay seems to have positioned himself to gain politically either way! CMOTamilNadu TVK Vijay TVK Party HQ TVK IT Wing Official

Name of the Book: Why do we need MKS as PM of India? Chapter: 1 Page: 4 In 1982, when the youth wing was formed there was a proposal that Stalin should be appointed as coordinator, but Karunanidhi was the first person to reject the idea and walk out of the meeting saying “There are already two members from my family in the party; my son in law Murasoli Maran and I. I believe that is the limit and I don't want one more member from my family " The youth wing cadres and senior party members present in the meeting were in utter shock. Stalin was their nearperfect choice to lead the newly formed youth wing of DMK but Karunanidhi was very firm about not including another family member into the official ranks of the party. The meeting was inconclusive and no one was able to convince Karunanidhi about Stalin being a good choice to lead the youth DMK wing. A senior cadre K. Subbu stood up and put forward his opinion which was the opinion of almost all the youth wing cadres. He said “We are not asking Stalin to lead the youth DMK because he is Kalaignar's son. If we wanted Kalaignar's son to be the youth wing coordinator we would have asked for Muthu, Alagri, or Tamil Arasu but the majority of us want Stalin to be the coordinator. When the emergency was declared in 1976, Stalin was arrested and taken away from his home by the police. Karunanidhi should have stopped them and declared that Stalin was not an official member of the party but he did not do so. Eventually, Stalin had undergone numerous hardships during imprisonment for the sake of the party and that demonstrates his devotion to the party. Kalaignar did not stop Stalin from being arrested that day hence he should not stop him from being the coordinator of the youth DMK today.” After this representation and the unwavering support from the members of the party, Karunanidhi couldn’t interfere with the democratic decision of the party cadres. It was the first official position given to Stalin in the DMK party. Created by Kathir RS
