During the last shutdown, Democrats defeated the Shutdown Fairness Act twice — which simply pays government employees on time. Now, Democrats have shut down Homeland Security, forcing essential workers to continue working without pay. This all could have been avoided had we passed the Shutdown Fairness Act.

Military families shouldn’t be stressed wondering when their next paycheck will come, TSA agents shouldn’t have to go to food banks, and air traffic controllers shouldn’t have to drive DoorDash to make ends meet.
