“The country is in a disaster. The economy is so hard, and we can’t even cope with it. What are they telling us to do now?” A trader lamented the hardships in the country following a decongestion exercise carried out today by the Mayor of Accra, which targeted traders selling on pavements and roads in the central business district of Accra. According to her, the move would affect her ability to care for her children.
