"I got on the phone with my manager after I did the audition and I was like, ‘I know I’ve never made this call before, but I HAVE to be on this. If I don’t get on this, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m ready to give 5 years of my life to this.’" — Supriya Ganesh on #ThePitt

Interview with Chris Ilitch in the Tigers celebration: "Tigers fans should know this team's goal, my goal, is to win a World Series. This is a step in that direction. Is it gonna happen this year? I don't know. I hope it does, but if it doesn't, we're gonna stay laser-focused."

Lando: "I hope it (winning the wdc) doesn’t change anything I do, the way I think, the way I do things. I believe I won the championship this year my way, by being a fair driver, by trying to be an honest driver. At times, could I have been more aggressive and got off the brakes and had a few people over? I certainly could have done, and maybe I would need to do more of that in the future. But did I need to do it this year? Is that the way I want to go racing? Is that me? It's not. And I'm sure if you compare me, if that’s what you wanna do, to all the champions: have I been as aggressive as them at times? No. Have I been as daring as them at times? No. But did I do just what I needed to do to win the world championship? Did I perform consistently? Did I perform when I needed to under the most pressure? Post Zandvoort, did I come back in the way I had to? Did I have three, four weekends of great results? I did. And I performed when I needed to perform to win the World Championship this season. And in the end, that’s what I needed to do. That’s all I needed to do." #AbuDhabiGP

#Habs Martin St. Louis thoughts on season "I feel like it's something we've built, and we keep growing. We've learned, and we're going to learn a lot through this process and failing at advancing. But you learn way more through the failures. This year, I know we're not moving on, we're not going to win the championship, but there's a lot of wins in what we did this year. I think it's going to help us to keep progressing." #GoHabsGo #NHL #Hockey

Fox Business’s Edward Lawrence: “Are you going to talk to the Belgian Prime Minister before the game?” President Trump: “I didn’t think of it, but I would. He’s a good man. I — I will tell you this. The people in Belgium, if they win the game, they can be very proud. If they would win the game with a player missing, it would have been a different feeling. You can’t do that and I’m very glad. All I did was ask for a review. I didn’t say you have to do this. This man is a smart, tough man, Gianni Infantino. He’s a smart, tough man, and his stock has gone through the roof because what the job he’s done has been great, and I feel we have to have all the best players on the field. You can’t take the best players.”

Stephen Jackson on why playing for Coach Pop was the best thing for him: "I love Pop man, he mean everything to me. Not only did he give me an opportunity to be on a championship team and to be part of a championship organisation. But he taught me how to be a professional, he taught me how to be a man. And starting my career off, you know my first couple of years in San Antonio, is the main reason I played 14 years. Because I learnt so much about myself, about the game.. I owe all that to Pop man and I pray for him daily, and I just hope one day you know soon, that I can see him and hug him and tell him how much I appreciate him.. When it all comes down to it, the opportunity that he gave me and believing in me to start me half way during the season, and to finish that season off as NBA champions, that meant the world to me man and I owe everything to Pop." #GoSpursGo #PorVida

It kinda feels like a turning point, because I finally get to do what I really want. And after the fan con, I just hope I’ll get more and more opportunities in the entertainment industry, like keep leveling up nonstop 🚀 If I had to talk about myself one year from now… I think I’d want to believe that I actually made it. Like let me say it first just in case it really happens 5555 If I do make it, I’ll be like “I did it!!” And honestly, I wanna keep telling myself every year that I did amazing and I’m proud of me 🫶" BABY SONYA 27 YRS #Sonya27thCelebration #Sonyasaranphat

Bobby Witt Jr. explains that the pressure to prove you belong can make you abandon the exact habits and identity that earned you the opportunity in the first place “My biggest thing for rookies is, know that you’re a big leaguer. That was the biggest thing for me. You get up here at a young age and can be star struck… There’s this guy, this guy… You can find yourself asking, am I supposed to be here?” “And I just tell them, your talent… The reason why they drafted you… The reason why you’re here… That’s why you’re here. You don’t need to do more. You don’t need to do less.” “But I still, to this day, do that. I want to do more. I want to get to the playoffs. I want to win. I just have to remind myself to know my routine. Know my preparation. Just be Bobby Witt Jr.” “I told one of our rookies when he got called up, just go out there and be Jac. You’re a big leaguer for a reason. Go out there and enjoy it. It could be over like that. Everything you did there got you to this day.” “Keep doing that. Don’t try to do more. Don’t try to do less.”

“He’s not taking it seriously” - tell that to the (much bigger) version of myself that I was a year ago. Listen; I’m just trying to be real. I’m not trying to make excuses, even if I have. This past month was hard for me, especially sharing it the way that I did. But regardless of that I’m not gonna let that low point or anyone on the internet take away from the progress that I’ve made over the YEARS of struggling and learning that I’ve gone through. I will never give up on this journey, I still plan to hit 399 by the end of April; I have a plan, I have a schedule, and I’m going to do my best to follow it. I apologize if this feels like giving attention directly to the negativity, but I felt like these thoughts / this response and the *hope* that I feel right now regarding my journey really need to be shared. I’m PROUD of what I’ve accomplished, even knowing I still have a long ways to go. I see the positive, I promise, and I’m sorry that I can’t always take the time to respond to more messages. #weightlossjourney

HOLY MOLY!!! President Biden just knocked his speech out of the park today. You have to see this. Biden got very real in his closing remarks: “Let me close with this. I know I'm not a young man. I don't walk as easily as I used to. I don't talk as smoothly as I used to. I don't debate as well as I used to. Well, I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done. I know, like millions of Americans, when you get knocked down, you get back up. I know what it will take to bring this economy to everybody. I know what it'll take to rally the world to stand up against Putin and defend freedom. And I know what it takes to keep the world safe and free for the years ahead. Folks, I give you my word as a Biden, I would not be running again if I didn't believe, with all my heart and soul that I can do this job because, quite frankly, the stakes are too high.” Wow. This was a masterful speech.

"My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life. That young man.... On the cross, our Savior said, "Father, forgive them, for they not know what they do." That man. That young man... I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and is what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us." Erika Kirk
