Stephen Jackson on why playing for Coach Pop was the best thing for him: "I love Pop man, he mean everything to me. Not only did he give me an opportunity to be on a championship team and to be part of a championship organisation. But he taught me how to be a professional, he taught me how to be a man. And starting my career off, you know my first couple of years in San Antonio, is the main reason I played 14 years. Because I learnt so much about myself, about the game.. I owe all that to Pop man and I pray for him daily, and I just hope one day you know soon, that I can see him and hug him and tell him how much I appreciate him.. Hassan: I am the proud mother of a young man with severe cerebral palsy and a day does not go by when I don’t think about what did I do when I was pregnant with him.. please do not suggest that anybody in this body doesn’t want to know what the cause of autism is. The problem with this witness and his response on the cause of autism and the relationship to vaccines is that he is relitigating settled science so we can’t go forward and find out what the cause is.

HOLY MOLY!!! President Biden just knocked his speech out of the park today. You have to see this. Biden got very real in his closing remarks: “Let me close with this. I know I'm not a young man. I don't walk as easily as I used to. I don't talk as smoothly as I used to. I don't debate as well as I used to. Well, I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done. I know, like millions of Americans, when you get knocked down, you get back up. I know what it will take to bring this economy to everybody. I know what it'll take to rally the world to stand up against Putin and defend freedom. And I know what it takes to keep the world safe and free for the years ahead. Folks, I give you my word as a Biden, I would not be running again if I didn't believe, with all my heart and soul that I can do this job because, quite frankly, the stakes are too high.” Wow. This was a masterful speech.

“He’s not taking it seriously” - tell that to the (much bigger) version of myself that I was a year ago. Listen; I’m just trying to be real. I’m not trying to make excuses, even if I have. This past month was hard for me, especially sharing it the way that I did. But regardless of that I’m not gonna let that low point or anyone on the internet take away from the progress that I’ve made over the YEARS of struggling and learning that I’ve gone through. I will never give up on this journey, I still plan to hit 399 by the end of April; I have a plan, I have a schedule, and I’m going to do my best to follow it. I apologize if this feels like giving attention directly to the negativity, but I felt like these thoughts / this response and the *hope* that I feel right now regarding my journey really need to be shared. I’m PROUD of what I’ve accomplished, even knowing I still have a long ways to go. I see the positive, I promise, and I’m sorry that I can’t always take the time to respond to more messages. #weightlossjourney
