I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. I think at some point he probably looked at me like, you going to cut? And I'm like, “oh yeah, yeah, cut.” He was still in it. That's the thing with Denzel. He was so Alonso…I'm just watching him for a while because I didn't know what else he was going to do. It was just so magical. And then I think he looked up at me and I was like, “Okay, cut, cut.”

You can never coast when you're working with Rob. Everything is gonna challenge you. He's gonna make big choices and, you know, acting is listening. You have to be able to react to him. And I do remember in that scene when he's talking to me, having this feeling inside of like, 'I wanna hit him so fucking bad.' But he's great and I love him. He's excellent in this film and I feel like he's probably the only person that could have found that version of Antinous. He really has a unique way about him."

I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Is he going -- is he -- is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office? I think he missed a chance tonight to to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp. I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling. And that's not the Mamdani that we've seen on Tiktok and the great interviews and stuff like that." Quentin Taratino said Lawrence Fishburne’s performance in King of New York was so incredible he thought - “he could be the greatest actor of his generation”. He explains: "As great as Christopher Walken is in this movie. To me, it's Larry Fishburne's movie - it was the rock that becomes a diamond aspect of the movie. It's why I could defend this movie against all comers, because to me, Fish's performance in this movie was comparable to a young Brando. It was the most exciting performance by an actor of his generation that I'd seen in a movie of that time. And I thought, well, that's it. There is a new Marlon Brando, and his name is Larry Fishburne - it was amazing, it was mesmerizing… He is the first hip hop gangster in movie history. That character had never been done before this. He invented that character. And he invented it as something to do. It wasn't in the original script. He came up with that himself… The three big Fishburne moments to me, is his opening sequence with…Tito. That's it, with Tito - black glove dude. And his reunion with Frank. And then it's the chicken scene (see below). Those are his three big arias. Not only that though - expressions that I would later hear for the rest of the decade, I actually heard for the first time in that scene. I'd never heard the expression; “I'll slap the black off you” before. That was the first time I heard it when Fish says it to Snipes. I've since heard it many times… And that was actually the first time I ever heard, “fuck you very much”. And I would proceed to hear that for the rest of the 90s. But those were the first times I'd ever heard those expressions… As terrific as he has been in other things - the level of excitement that I had over him when this movie was over, I have never had that excitement again. I thought, with this, he could be the greatest actor of his generation. That was an actual, real fucking thing. He could be the greatest actor of his generation after seeing this." Jacob: Shane was a really tricky character to write and a really tricky character to execute because so much of him is internal. That requires a lot of active listening & a lot of letting your face do the work because Shane doesn't talk a lot and I wasn't gonna make him talk a lot because that's not part of who he is. We had to express a lot of things physically again. I think that Hudson is an incredibly physical actor and it shines through for Shane. You understand what he's feeling every step of the way. YOU TELL HIM!!! He is fucking incredible as our Shane👏 #heatedrivalry

I think it was a big mistake of theirs to not let him just run things the way that he always has. [Dana] knows the White House card sucks. He knows that they were pushing this for over a year and it fell extremely short of expectations. I can guarantee you he's not happy with it either."

Bill said he spoke to his financial advisors and they said it made sense. Elon said 'What do you need money for? I thought you cared about climate, etc. What are you doing?' and then he walked away in disgust and never talked to Bill Gates after that. Elon's a purist, he means what he says. The money is a tool for him to do what he wants to do. I take him at face value. I really believe he intends to get to Mars, that's not a joke. And he means to get there within a defined window of time. I don't think that's an inspirational goal, I think he'll do whatever it takes. Elon doesn't want to go down in history as the electric car guy, or the 'I saved America' guy, he wants to go down as the guy who got humanity to the stars. I don't even think he even wants to be known as that, I think he actually just wants to do it because he wants to do it. The only way he gets to experience the science fiction world in his head is if he gets to the stars. I think the Government was just a thing that got in his way, and he needs to get it out of his way so he can go to the stars."
