6 months ago, Chibugo | AI automation had no AI Automation job. No fancy workstation. No high-paying role. No guarantee that learning another skill would finally be the thing that changed her life. Just a decision to try. Today? She’s working a full-time AI Automation role, earning well, and was even provided a complete workstation setup by her employer. But here’s the part most people won’t show you… The journey wasn’t smooth. There were assignments to complete. Concepts to understand. Moments of confusion. Days when showing up wasn’t convenient. Yet she kept going. And that’s why stories like hers don’t surprise me. Because success in AI Automation isn’t reserved for geniuses. It’s usually the result of ordinary people committing to learn a valuable skill and refusing to quit halfway. Now let me ask you something… How long have you been telling yourself that things will eventually get better? How many months have gone by saying: “I’ll learn a skill next month.” “I’ll start when I have more time.” “I’ll figure things out later.” Meanwhile, your income hasn’t changed. You still have to think twice before buying what you want. You’re still postponing things you should already be able to afford. You’re still hoping for a breakthrough instead of building one. The uncomfortable truth? The next 6 months will pass whether you act or not. The only question is: Will your life look different when they do? For Chibugo, 6 months was enough to completely change her trajectory. For you, it could be the beginning of your own story. The next AI Automation Cohort starts in July. If you’re ready to stop watching opportunities pass by and start building skills businesses are actively paying for, this is your chance. Registration is already open and we have some slots taken already So use the Link in the comments to secure your own slot.. See you in class. (Full podcast will be out tomorrow 😊)

Learning From The Outliers This is 17 year old Dylan Block (Michael’s son) hitting 122mph club head speed and 182mph ball speed with a 3 wood. I slowed down the video so you can get a good look at what he does in transition. It is amazing. Towards the end of the backswing you can see how high he gets his hands, and how far towards vertical his left arm gets. Then we can see a beautiful sequence of events, as he slightly bends his knees, which will set him up for a very powerful mini vertical jump later, and builds lots of pressure under his lead foot. (The pressure will actually have started building under his lead foot in the later stages of the backswing). Most of you will be aware of the term “kinematic sequence” which was made popular by TPI , and this refers to the order in which different segments of the body move in the downswing. The most efficient sequences see an unwinding order of pelvis, toros, lead arm, club. In super fast players, it is also common to see them create a big big stretch between these segments. There is a big stretch across the: Pelvis and torso Torso and lead arm Lead arm and wrist There are even more, including the pelvis getting further away from the hands in a vertical fashion, further stretching the torso. There is also the rapid stretch of the quads and calves / Achilles from the rapid “mini squat” which will enable them push off the ground really hard at the right time to aid in the momentum the body can transfer to the club. Muscles can contract more forcefully when they are preceded by a quick stretch. It takes advantage of something called the “Stretch Shortening Cycle” which is a little bit like a sling shot affect. Stretch, then fire. In the golf swing, because there are SO MANY muscles and joints involved, with elite technique like this you can take advantage of many different stretch shortening cycles. This is a key reason why some players who don’t appear very big or very strong can generate such amazing speed. (Being really strong would probably be additive and help reduce injury risk) The sequence of segment unwinding in the downswing is exactly what you want, and they enhance it by creating so much stretch between the segments. Look at how many frames there is in transition before the club head starts rotating about the shaft back down towards the ball. It is very “late”. This is the opposite of what you see with many amateurs who get to the top and immediately “throw” the club head and spin the upper body open. There is then no stretch between the segments, and all the energy is wasted early. This is a great example of amazing swing mechanics, elite mobility, and probably great genetics all interacting. I can’t stress enough how impressive this speed is at 17, while looking so “effortless”. Thanks to Sasho MacKenzie and Young-Hoo Kwon for helping me understand golf biomechanics better. If you have any questions, fire away, and let me know if you like these types of posts.

Palmer Luckey on the question he asked his billionaire group chat Palmer is asked how he feels about billionaires who have sold their companies and are now cruising the Mediterranean on their yachts, rather than betting their fortune to make the world a better place. He responds: “I’m in a group chat called ‘The B-Boys Club.’ It’s all boys who have sold a company for at least a billion dollars… It doesn’t exclude women. Women would be allowed. It’s just thus far only boys have applied. And for years — all the way back to when I sold my company and got invited to the B Boys Club — I’ve tried to shame people: ‘You have so much money. Why are you not doing what you know is the right thing to do with this capital?’” He asks them: “Are you going to be Batman or are you going to be you?” Palmer has succeeded in changing the thinking of some members. Others have replied that racing old vintage race cars is extremely fun. “I’ve paid my dues Palmer,” they say, “I’m not in it to stress like used to when I started my company.” To Palmer, money is just a small part of it though. These people could leverage their intelligence, network, and reputations to affect tremendous change: “Why was I able to start Anduril? Money was a small part of it… People believed in me because I was proven founder who had started a multi-billion dollar company that successfully exited. That makes it easier to recruit people. You’re in a position to do what no amount of money alone could do. You could take some guy off the street and give him $10 billion, but he won’t be able to accomplish half of what some of these people would be able to accomplish… [Reputation] is a free resource. You don’t even have to spend you’re money.” This is why Palmer hasn’t done The Giving Pledge: “When you pledge to give away your money, what you’re really saying is, ‘I think other people can do more good with my money than I can.’ and ‘I think my view of the world will be more competently executed by others than myself.’.. Maybe there are people who are truly mentally and physically not what they used to be. But for many people, I think they could absolutely achieve their goals better than handing it to a non-founder or NGO.” He continues: “My thinking is I’ve got a view as to how the world should be, and I don’t think that there’s anyone else who’s going to more-faithfully execute on that than me. When I’m all old and used up, maybe I’ll change my mind.” Video source: Peter H. Diamandis, MD (2025)

I have two sons - a 6 yr old (Òkìkíọlá) and a 2 year old (Ajíbọ́lá). There are some things I've been doing, which are working well so far. 1. Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months. You need to work with their mum on this. 2. Start talking to them early. When they speak their gibberish, reply them as if you understand. It will prompt them to talk more. If you pay attention, some of the gibberish will have meaning, as they'll use it in the same scenario over and over again. When he was just over a year old, Ajíbọ́lá would say "mamat" when he needs food or water. He would say "Tataaam" if he needs you to put the next spoon or morsel into his mouth. These are just some examples of what seemed like gibberish, but have meanings to the child. 3. As soon as they start talking, introduce them to poems, pictures and crafts. Give them book and pencils to just draw any "rubbish" they want to. 4. As soon as they start school, get involved. Go over their books with them. Don't teach them their assignments. Guide them to do it. Even when they're stuck, don't just offer them the solution. Keep asking them what they think can be done and throw in little suggestions here and there. As they process the question and relate it with your hints, their problem solving skills will keep developing. 5. Fuel their curiosity, don't ignore their questions. From age 4, they'll ask you lots of questions. From what they did in school, to things they learnt in their cartoon and all, they'll ask you questions. Show off your knowledge at this point. Explain to them in the simplest of terms. Use teaching aids if possible. After explaining some things to Òkìkíọlá, I'd say "Hey Google, show me an image/video of blah blah" and it'll match what I've explained. He has done this severally. At some point, he believed that I know everything. The audio attached was made on 02/02/2025. He just asked me "How did you know everything?" 6. Correct with love. If they're always scared, it can affect their mental well-being. 7. Compliment and reward them whenever they learn something new. Òkìkí has seen this as a cheat code. Whenever he needs something, he would tell me something he learnt first. The last time he needed me to buy him something, he listed seven colours if the rainbow and seven continents that I just taught him, the day before. To him, he has my generosity button. To me, I'm building a young man who is learning new things every day - win-win! 8. If you're changing a choice they make, don't just make an order. Explain to them why you are changing the choice. Explaining the thought process will help them better than just vetoing. 9. Make them love you so much that they won't want to disappoint you or make you feel bad. To do this, you have to be present. PS: These are few of the things that's working for me so far. They're not perfect and may not work for everyone.

Is Petoskey Becoming Traverse City 2.0? A housing development full of condos costing over $1.8 million is sure to only bring the worst sort of people to town By O.W. Root O.W. Root Petoskey — Whenever a new residential building goes up in a Northern town, the reaction from the locals is almost always the same. Squinted eyes and skepticism. The orange cones, the overturned soil, the trucks, the trees coming down, and the mini billboard out front designed to give everyone a little taste of what’s to come. It’s all viewed as a worrying harbinger of unwanted change. That sounds like fuddy-duddy-ism, I know. But it isn’t entirely. The towns on the lake Up North are quaint, beautiful, old, and almost every new build is the exact opposite. True, a new build can’t be an old house. But a new place can be designed to blend naturally with its surroundings. Curiously, they almost never are. The new buildings are almost always ugly eyesores sullying villages that remind us of more human times. New builds also mean more people are coming, and that’s not always a good thing. Yes, we need tourists in the summer, and a certain in-flow of new arrivals every so often is good and natural for a town. It means a place is attractive and desirable. But look at what’s happened to Traverse City. I hate to say it, but I hate going to Traverse City. It’s not a lake town anymore. It’s something much worse. In Petoskey, there’s a lot of construction going on, and it’s not all exactly encouraging. There are more buildings going up right now than any time in the past five years. Driving by some of these sites gives me somewhat of a sick feeling. It feels a little like an early stage Traverse City 2.0. Not all these new builds are equally worrying. The story is a little more complex. There is an actual housing shortage on Little Traverse Bay, and it’s not related to new arrivals who want to buy $750,000 homes. Reasonably priced housing is missing. A common complaint for many business owners is staff shortages. Simply put, normal working people can’t afford to live here, so there aren’t enough workers for the businesses here. That’s a real problem if you want your town to thrive. What we are seeing right now in Petoskey are two kinds of new buildings going up. The difference between them and their potential impacts are stark. Some are critical for the life of the town, and some will most likely attract the worst kind of people. Let us take a look at an example of each type of new build currently going up in Petoskey. The Block at Petoskey The Block at Petoskey is a brand new apartment complex on Standish Avenue, just west of Bear Creek River. It’s in a slow part of town, right at the edge where the houses trickle off and into the more commercial area approaching Meijer. Across the street are a tanning salon and an auto repair shop. The Block at Petoskey is set to include a gym, walking trails, a yoga studio, and a clubhouse. To be honest, The Block at Petoskey has nicer amenities than any apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. It includes just about everything you might want with a 2 bed-2 bath unit going for $1,724 per month. Aesthetically, the Block at Petoskey is okay. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible. It’s just fine. It’s not real bonafide cheap, but it’s not crazy either, and it’s certainly not luxury pricing. It’s built and priced for people who work for a living. It’s a needed development which will benefit the town. The Summit Over Bay Harbor The Summit Over Bay Harbor is an absurd development set to tower over US-31, just north of Bay Harbor. Based on the highly produced sleek simulations found on their website, the units might best be described as modern luxury. They are quite frankly, soulless expensive Lego slop. They have absolutely nothing in common with any of the traditional architecture of the area. They say Northern Michigan about as much as a cactus does. They start at—yes, start at—$1.8 million. Based on their map, they are planning almost 75 units. It’s a very nice area up here, but is it nice enough for 75 $1.8 million units? Eh, I don’t know about that. I’m not sure there is enough capital here to support 75 year-round residents who want to shell out $1.8 million for what amounts to a modern condo overlooking 31 and Bay Harbor. The traditional type of Northern resident (seasonal or year-round) who wants to spend $1.8 million will generally seek out a historical home or build something more culturally in-line with the area. Say what you want about Bay Harbor, but at least they try. There is something a little off about it there only because it’s impossible to build something new that also feels organic and old. But the spirit and direction is right. The hope is correct at Bay Harbor. At least the homes feel like they are attempting some kind of organic integration into the historical architecture and general spirit of the area. The Summit Over Bay Harbor is most likely not going to be for the traditional kinds of residents of Little Traverse Bay. I very much doubt that the majority of the units will be lived in year-round. Most will be short-term rentals. I suspect the units will function more as investments for people who don’t live here. There will be no positive cultural impact. Keeping the lake towns as the lake towns we love is an extremely delicate operation. Balancing new arrivals, housing, jobs, local culture, trying to remain vital while not destroying the reason we want to be here in the first place is like balancing on a tightrope. It needs to be done very carefully. Petoskey needs apartments like The Block at Petoskey. These more reasonably priced places will certainly help to keep working residents here and the town alive year-round. Petoskey doesn’t need the soulless investment units of The Summit over Bay Harbor unless we want to become Traverse City 2.0. And we certainly don’t.

Is Traditional Software Engineering Dead? “Does this mean that traditional software engineering is dead? Absolutely not. Software engineers—even the ones who are not necessarily tuning or training AI models—these are now among the most leveraged people on earth. Sure, the guys who are training and tuning models are even more leveraged because they’re building the tool set that software engineers are using. But software engineers still have two massive advantages on you. First, they think in code, so they actually know what’s going on underneath. And all abstractions are leaky. So when you have a computer programming for you—when you have Claude Code or equivalent programming for you—it’s going to make mistakes. It’s going to have bugs. It’s going to have suboptimal architecture. So it’s not going to be quite right. And someone who understands what’s going on underneath will be able to plug the leaks as they occur. So if you want to build a well-architected application, if you want to be able to even specify a well-architected application, if you want to be able to make it run at high performance, if you want it to do its best, if you want to catch the bugs early, then you’re going to want to have a software engineering background. The traditional software engineer is going to be able to use these tools much better. And there are still many kinds of problems in software engineering that are out of scope for these AI programs today. The easiest way to think about those is problems that are outside of their data distribution. For example, if they need to do a binary sort or reverse a linked list, they’ve seen countless examples of that, so they’re extremely good at it. But when you start getting out of their domain—where you have to write very high-performance code, when you’re running on architectures that are novel or brand new, when you’re actually creating new things or solving new problems, then you still need to get in there and hand code it. At least until either there are so many of those examples that new models can be trained on them, or until these models can sufficiently reason at even higher levels of abstraction and crack it on their own… And remember: there is no demand for average. The average app—nobody wants it, at least as long as it’s not filling some niche that is filled by a superior app. The app that is better will win essentially a hundred percent of the market. Maybe there’s some small percentage that will bleed off to the second-best app because it does some little niche feature better than the main app, or it’s cheaper, or something of the sort. But generally speaking, people only want the best of anything. So the bad news is there’s no point in being number two or number three—like in the famous Glengarry Glen Ross scene where Alec Baldwin says, “First place gets a Cadillac Eldorado, second place gets a set of steak knives, and third place you’re fired.” That’s absolutely true in these winner-take-all markets. That’s the bad news: You have to be the best at something if you want to win. However, the set of things you can be best at is infinite. You can always find some niche that is perfect for you, and you can be the best at that thing. This goes back to an old tweet of mine where I said, “Become the best in the world at what you do. Keep redefining what you do until this is true.” And I think that still applies in this age of AI.”

$AMD | Folks are asking why there is a massive disconnect here between $800 and $465 🧵 May be this should help, and most subscribers and followers already know. 1. I don't offer Financial Advice! 2. We have so many individual and institutional bears who made millions selling AI bubble fear porn and think they are smarter than the best CEOs in the world. Hence most semiconductor stocks are trading at 15–25x forward P/E even with massive growth, AMD included. I actually believe this is healthy, keeping valuations in check to give new investors better return. Would u prefer to invest at 15-25x fwd P/E or 30-50x fwd P/E? 3. Guidance is issued by the quarter, so we will only know officially in November 2026 for that biggest inflection in Q4. 4. Institutions are rotating back and forth between value stocks and growth stocks; out of AI, into AI stocks; one week risk-on, another week risk-off. They are trading much more frequently now. 5. Most AMD analysts are becoming more and more bullish, but projections and forecasts are still 30–50% lower than what management has provided so far. We all know Dr. Su is the queen of sandbagging, so adjust accordingly. This is the first time I heard her tell analysts directly on the Q&A that their estimates are too low. 6. Institutions are accepting that agentic AI is going to have a severe shortage and that it will also take time for TSMC to scale. The largest CPU ramp will be #1 AMD, then #2 NVIDIA from Q4 2026. So institutions have some months to play around and see what the Federal Reserve is saying. TSMC is scaling 11-15 2nm Fabs at the fastest pace since its inception btw!!! 7. TSMC does not really disclose customers' allocation, so most of us are projecting from available data, which makes growth 10x more difficult to predict. However, AMD is TSMC’s third largest customer and is on track to become the second largest. The largest CoWoS allocation increase for 2027 is AMD, per a Morgan Stanley note. 8. Just because I gave out my personal PT does not mean it will get there. It may be higher or lower. I just know that even at $800 it would be trading at 30–35x FY2027 P/E, which is reasonable for triple-digit growth, in my opinion. A few potential rate hikes could lower forward P/E a bit, but they will not be able to stop the J-curve quarters and years from AMD over the next 3–5 years. 9. Yield is getting pretty attractive for fixed income folks, so semiconductor stocks do have competition. The demand for capital is so high right now that yields rise monthly to build out data centers. That is the reality most of us have to accept. It is funny that the folks lending the capital to hyperscalers, AI labs, and neoclouds have some of the most bearish takes on the AI industrial revolution. 10. Keep in mind, we are only 3-5 agents on average across all Enterprises. We are just so early. Medium-Long Term, Hyperscalers, AI labs and Enterprises will scale to hundreds and thousands of Agents doing tasks 24/7 using various AI Models from cheap to most expensive. I just play it on repeat since yesterday: "Hello Pope Leo XIV, I'm Renzo, I'm six years old. I'd like to ask you a few questions." Renzo, a little a boy from the poor neighborhood of Barcelona, stole the show yesterday at St. Augustine's parish, a place where Pope Leo admitted he "feels at home." Renzo in the sweetest way ever asked those questions to the pope: Do you like soccer? When you were little, did you want to be Pope? Why are my mom and dad worried? Why does my dad have so many jobs? Why do bad things happen to some people and not to others? Whose fault is it? Why are there so many people living on the streets? Does no one see them? Does no one help them? How can we help if the world is so big? Does God want there to be poor and rich? Why are there so many lonely grandparents, if they are so important? And one last question ... Must we always forgive? What pope Leo answered the boy was really moving. "Regarding whether I like football, I confess that I play tennis and I enjoy it very much, but I also appreciate football; in fact, during my years as bishop in Peru, I liked to follow how some local teams were doing; and now, as Pope, I have also received football clubs and sports groups," the pope said, adding that "sport is important because it helps us grow up healthy in body and mind." He said that as World Cup unfolds, "many will be watching the matches. Football reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off alone, but a path we learn to travel together." "Whoever doesn't know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, hasn't yet understood the game. And whoever doesn't know how to live with others and for others hasn't yet understood life." Answering whether he wanted to be Pope when he was little, the pope said: "Well, Renzo, I don't think so. I don't think I ever thought about it." "But I can tell you something: from a young age, I felt the desire to dedicate my life to God. I didn't yet know exactly how or where the Lord would lead me. Over time, I discovered that Jesus was calling me to follow him as a priest, and that this path led through the Order of Saint Augustine." "But this isn't just true for me," he said. "Every child is a dream of God. You are too. God desires the happiness of all and wants us, from childhood and throughout our lives, to have a heart like that of children (cf. Mt 18:3): capable of trusting, full of kindness; he wants us to be his friends and not turn away from him. Therefore, more important than asking oneself whether one will be a priest, doctor, teacher, parent, or anything else, is asking oneself whether one wants to be a friend of Jesus. Because friendship with Jesus gives us joy, sets us free, and helps us to see, step by step, the vocation and the path that God has planned for each of us." Answering the point on injustices in the world, Pope Leo told the boy that "through the life of Jesus Christ, God shows us that, although there is suffering, he never abandons any of his children, because he has prepared for us an eternal joy where there will be no more sadness or pain. Let us have confidence, Jesus is with us, he helps us and accompanies us, and gives us strength to go through the difficult moments we may encounter in life." Stressing that grandparents play a crucial role in families, the pope said: "Let us not allow loneliness and abandonment to become normalized in the lives of older adults. That is a very sad thing. Let's have our hearts open to all of them." On forgiveness, he told Renzo and those gathered: "It does not mean forgetting by force, as if nothing had happened. Forgiveness means not letting hatred become the master of our hearts ... our willingness to forgive is a condition for the forgiveness we receive from God." Video: Vatican Media

WE AFRICANS MAY NEVER PROSPER FOR AS LONG AS WE LIVE IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE CHEAP LABOUR AND A CUSTOMER BASE FOR EUROPEANS The more I think about Pan Africanism, the State of Africa, and the prospects of its people, the more I wonder about some of the colonial programmes that African puppet governments simply continued with post-independence. For example, most of our townships were designed to be concentration camps that would force us into a cheap labour reservoir for Europeans. But not only that, they ensure we were dispossed of land, or could not use our own land that we still had. Even more, these concentration camps became a huge customer base for the same Europeans for whom we worked as they build their malls there. In a manner of speaking, they reaped us off twice: first as cheap labour, and secondly, as reliable customers for their products, right from the supermarket to the farm. It therefore may well be said that Africans and African governments need to rethink the settlement patterns of Africans. Instead of more cities, we need more roads and high speed rail so that Africans can live and work in their communities, instead of the few highways that were built for extractive purposes and run straight from the mines directly to the seaports. Let cottage industries and industrial parks be set up all over including the small towns and villages. This will ensure a total solution to the challenges of homelessness in the cities as there is more land for Africans to live in, build and even engage in small scale farming for their basic needs. One of the biggest tragedies played on us is the idea that "land has value, and for it to have value, that land has to be located next to European settlements". Our land ought to have value deep in our African settlements, and that way we won't even be beholden to banks' housing schemes through 20 or 30 year bonds. As more and more Africans build in their rural villages, let us disabuse ourselves of this notion that "that is not an investment". We do not build our homes primarily to sell, we build homes to live in with our families and leave them as a heritage to our children when we leave this world. African governments need to think beyond the Native Commissioners' ideas and accept African culture instead of always seeking to make everything look European. For example, what is the point of building skyscrapers in Africa as if we always have a shortage of housing land (except that such situations are artificially created through these cities?) The Africa of tomorrow must embrace the traditional African settlements and bring services directly to where Africans live, than drive Africans further into concentration camps, which comes with so many ills, everything from crime to drugs. And last, key point: Africans developing in their own communities means that they will provide labour to one another, be customers for one another's businesses, retain critical skills in the communities, advance community development, and ultimately, ensure the establishment of an African Economy owned by Africans! It is perhaps a tragedy of our time that places such as this in Venda, Bulilima-Mangwe, parts of KZN, etc. are leading the way, but it seems that governments aren't paying enough attention. We still need to decolonise African Governments!

Pulling our heart strings. Transitioned from a rockin tune to purely instrumental. Then Robert Richie - aka Kid Rock appears with blue jeans and a baseball cap and introduced by his real name, Robert Richie...and sings "Til You Can't"... Singing right From his heart. Just him and his guitar! Then he talks about dusting off the Bible and talks about Salvation. The tears falling from our eyes for this was a beautiful transition in life. Did Strings get cut from their/our prior world? Did they /we find Christ and Salvation? Now to tell the world about Accepting Christ in your /our hearts. This wasn't your typical rock concert, this was an outreach from one of the biggest Rock n Roll entertainers on the planet and he was doing this for God. Is this Kid Rock's calling? Is it our calling? When we accepted Christ in our hearts, did we have a past that we had to break those ties of the world? Did we have our strings cut? Meaning, something happen in our lives to make us puppets and now we don't? Were we puppets? Did Christ cut our strings of the past tyrannical world to give us a New one? Then now you are here...reading this...probably with tears in your eyes...for only You and God know your past life and the struggles you faced and the transition you made or are trying to make. You have accepted Christ in your Heart or you are now thinking about it. Either way...you came this far in reading this post and now it may be God speaking to you! We are entering the end of these days. The days the secular world that controlled us. Many have strong relationships with God and got through these moments. You had hind sight, spidey senses, a gift from God, knowing we will enter a New Life and New World with God as our Light and Savior and our ONLY path to Eternal Greatness and life! Who will make it to Heaven? Who will receive God's Abundance? This was a clear message that God is calling for you/us. To reach out and or to give your life and soul to God...He will make your life and path so fulfilling! It won't be easy, yet it will be so worth it! I am writing this from my heart and hope that there will be more people entering God's Jubilee for we must be getting VERY CLOSE! May God Bless you Abundantly!

I want to share my heart with you. I’ve been working for the children of Pakistan since I was 17. Im 50 years old today. I’ve buried kids as small as 6 months, I’ve held babies whose mothers tried to cut their heads off and bury them, and they survived. I’ve seen kids brought in off the streets shaking with ice and heroin addiction. I’ve seen thousands of kids broken limbed, wounded, raped, because they were tiny labourers in homes. My own sim was a bonded slave at a brick kiln at the the age of 4. Today he is nearly an engineer. Shukar Alhamdolillah. If your family falls into poverty, will you send your 10 year old to work in some strangers home? Depriving your child of the right to learn and more importantly the right to be safe. No. You will not. So why insult the average poor parent of Pakistan.? They work! They work in fields! In factories! In homes. Single mothers. Widows. Sweat all day and educate their children. I SALUTE THEM! So remember those parents who send their children into forced Labour, exposing them to injury, are parents that need the support of the state. And the State of Punjab IS PROVIDING THAT SUPPORT. We have 9 working shelters and 25 in the making. ALL of them have hostels, schools, health care, mental health care and career counselling for the children. Work is happening. We all wish there was more, but it’s amazing work and we need to support it and encourage it. These bureaus should be all over Pakistan! They support children who need support and make sure kids are not being used by parents. Parents also need to learn two things, first being family planning and the second is, they cannot have children with the sole intent to send them off to work. Because you will Be surprised, that is what many many people see children, even their own children as…. A way of making money. Do not encourage or support that culture. My second foster boys own biological mother turned down a house, money, all bills paid, because she makes so much off her surviving kids begging. She burned my boys legs and you give. He is still getting speech therapy. The bureau also has its own court system to prosecute criminal parents. I have seen kids whose mothers flushed them down the toilet, abandoned them on trash heaps, or left the rented house, leaving the crying children behind, because the new husband didn’t want them. All these kids are my kids. They Are the bureaus kids, are Sarah Ahmad (T.I.) kids. But most of all they are Pakistans kids. And each and every one of us is Pakistan. I ask you to help us in this cause. And trust in our work. Trust in me when I say child domestic labour is evil. Trust me when i say we can and should fight for a Pakistan where EVERY child is in school. That day is coming. InshaAllah. In the meantime please I BEG OF YOU, pray for Rizwana. And pray that awful evil woman, does not escape justice! I have not been able to sleep a wink knowing she is roaming the earth free to attempt to murder another child with barbaric torture, while this child is fighting for every breath with a broken body and an even more broken spirit. Please pray she survives. I then pledge to making sure she thrives. InshaAllah

The proposed indefinite stay-away by Zimbabwe’s war veterans’ leader Blessed “Bombshell” Geza has failed to take off. Zimbabweans, particularly in Bulawayo and Harare and other small towns, chose to go to work today. I see on social media that some citizens in the diaspora are angry with fellow compatriots back home for going to work, but we should remember that Zimbabwe has 95% unemployment, so if people do not go out to hustle, they will starve, so goes the argument. The idea that people would get food from retailers or wholesalers was Alice in Wonderland stuff, it was never going to work or happen in a country where most businesses are owned by the corrupt cabal that the action intended to remove or loosen its grip on power. Secondly, Zimbabweans want to be liberated from corrupt rule by a particular type of political group and politician, so without the traditional opposition throwing its weight behind Geza's call, his efforts were always going to be in vain even though they are noble and progressive. The failure of this stay-away ends any immediate hope that citizens will participate in any liberation efforts unless mobilised by the traditional opposition, which does not exist, or by the military. I will be blunt. Short of a military intervention to stop Emmerson Mnangagwa’s corrupt rule, he will now get everything he wants, including term extensions. He is relentless. Zimbabweans will now be stuck with Mnangagwa until the day he dies and possibly will have to accept that his kids will rule them too with the assistance of his crooked cronies and clansmen. Zimbabweans should forget about the 2028 election and as a local doctor mentioned on social media, begin working through the five stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. It is pointless putting your hopes in a process that you know too well will be rigged. For him to fail to achieve what he wants, Mnangagwa would have to make a catastrophic mistake, like killing loads of people which will attract international scrutiny or firing his Vice President, General Constantino Chiwenga which might finally trigger a decisive response. There is now nobody with the capacity to stop him, short of a military intervention or death. Geza has tried, but there is no tangible citizen support that was forthcoming. Geza managed to force Mnangagwa’s team to stop chanting the 2030 slogan and pushed them into another plan of bribing MPs with illegally parcelled land. But after today, the dictator knows that Geza is now all alone, unless the military intervenes, which, as I have said before, is now looking highly unlikely unless they are provoked by the continued conspicuous consumption of looted public funds. So, Zimbabweans must now accept the reality that their failure to sacrifice for their liberation by simply staying at home will mean more unemployment, more looting of public funds, more dilapidated hospitals and public infrastructure, and more economic pain all around. Those are the grim political and socio-economic realities of Zimbabwe going forward, nothing less, nothing more. Journalists will continue writing about corruption scandals, but only for historical records and as part of our job, and for many readers, it would be for entertainment value sadly. Some will just switch to issues that have positive mental health outcomes. If you are young, have a passport, and have somewhere to go, my advice is to leave, otherwise, you will just become another tragic statistic of poverty, unemployment, and possibly death in a derelict hospital. Ordinarily, Africans do not care about who is in power if they have the basic necessities of life. But sadly, in Zimbabwe, those necessities will remain out of reach for as long as Mnangagwa and his corrupt cabal are in power. As for the opposition, it is dead. There will be no pushback for reasons you all know. You will remember that last year in May, I mentioned that three key countries to Zimbabwe's politics privately mentioned through their diplomats that, as far as they were concerned, 2028 was gone, and they were now looking at perhaps 2033 or even beyond to envisage any possibility of a change of government. But as long as Zimbabweans remain fixated on the main actor syndrome and not an opposition movement, they must also accept being stuck in the current political ditch for a long time to come. What does this mean? It means more looting. For the diaspora, it means continuing to send money back home for the foreseeable future. The tragedy is that Zimbabwean citizens continue to look for a hero figure rather than building a durable, collective movement that outlasts individual egos. Until that changes, power will remain concentrated in the hands of whoever seizes the moment, no matter how corrupt or undemocratic they are like Mnangagwa. For foreign diplomats, it simply means accepting that they now must work with the government of the day no matter how corrupt it is, with no hope of any change unless there is a dramatic intervention that puts an end to the current political rot. For General Constantino Chiwenga, it means kissing goodbye to his dream of becoming president. He must now tighten his security and pray that Mnangagwa does not make the un-strategic mistake of firing him because he might not be able to fight back. If he still has an appetite for this job, he has to fight for it by coming out of the shadows, otherwise he will meet the same fate that destroyed Joice Mujuru’s career. Without her husband, she became a nobody, and without the military, Chiwenga will be just another brick in the wall. For 74-year-old war veterans’ leader, former intelligence officer, and former Member of Parliament Blessed “Bombshell” Geza, keep your head up high old man. You did what you could, and history will be kind to you for trying, at great personal cost. Your beautiful home in Sanyati was burnt, your wife harassed, and now you are living in hiding. One would have to be a fool of monumental proportions not to acknowledge your efforts and say thank you for trying. You have contributed to people’s consciousness about how bad corruption has become, and hopefully you will live to see the change that Zimbabwe so desperately needs. Every struggle needs leadership; people cannot lead themselves. The idea that the Arab Spring was leaderless is rooted in ignorance and a lack of understanding of what happened. Without leaders to provide direction and inspiration, citizens cannot move forward on their own. Citizens were given direction and inspiration by Geza, but quite evidently, they felt it was not enough to compel them to make sacrifices, such as simply staying away from work and enduring a little hardship for the greater good and a better future. The dysfunctionality of national leadership in Zimbabwe has been fuelled by money changing hands, shameless ethnic alignments, corruption, and the absence of a shared national vision and values. Put simply, Zimbabweans are not united against the common enemy, corrupt rule. The oversized egos that prioritise individualism over a collective agenda are self-evident, and they are among the key ingredients of today’s failed politics. Sadly, it is the ordinary people and the lumpen who cheer that individualism that will continue to suffer. As Dr Solomon Guramatunhu has always said in my favourite saying of his, politicians are a mirror of who we are as a society. Every society has a leadership it deserves. When the society fundamentally changes, it will change its leadership too. When citizens hero-worship politicians regardless of the mistakes they make, it means such a people deserve those leaders. When citizens demand more, the leaders will also change. For now, Zimbabweans are stuck with Mnangagwa and an elusive opposition that only exists in name and not indeed. I conclude by saying that only something very dramatic will change Zimbabwe’s state of affairs. It could be a military intervention that removes the current corrupt political leadership of Mnangagwa, but ultimately it will also serve the interests of the elites if the citizens are just by-standers, or a dramatic fall from grace for the corrupt if a few of them are arrested beyond the president’s control, leading to the public shedding its fear. At this moment, any change will do, because the country was removed from the gutter in 2017 into the sewer. The question is who has the capacity to bring the required change? Only time will tell.

This seems to be happening more and more on CNN. Anchor Brianna Keilar eventually SNAPS at Rep. Eric Swalwell after putting him in the HOT SEAT for more than three minutes — pressing him on WHY Democrats are refusing to pay DHS. Swalwell repeatedly tried to dodge the question, but Keilar kept coming right back at him. KEILAR: “House Republicans want DHS fully funded, including ICE. Democrats want to fund DHS minus ICE and some CBP.” “Realistically, though, ICE does have enough money to operate through the end of Trump’s term already.” “Even without that funding, the Democrats object to what are you gaining as a party for the American people, if ice is still going to be funded to operate either way, here?” SWALWELL: “Well, the White House, by funding ICE and CBP is essentially sanctioning or signing off on more public executions.” “You know, we saw what happened with a nurse named Pretti and a mom named Good. And I’m not going to cosign on that.” “And I’m with 100 members of the Senate, Republicans and Democrats who voted to fund every part of Homeland Security, including TSA, but not give more money to CBP or ICE…” Keilar immediately cut back in to refocus the question. KEILAR: “But I mean…do you disagree with what I laid out there?” “That ICE has enough money, that there is enough money without the money that Democrats are objecting to, because what—” SWALWELL: “That’s why I don’t want to give them more money…” KEILAR: “But if they have enough, then how is it not just symbolic?” “Because at this point you have a lot of people who are paying the price, right? A lot of attention has been paid to TSA. They, of course, are now getting paid because of the executive order.” “But it’s not just them, right? Civilians in the Coast Guard, they are going without. Many of them in California.” “How long should they be prepared to work without a paycheck?” Instead of answering directly, Swalwell pivoted. SWALWELL: “It’s not symbolic to a six year old boy named Joseph in my district. A couple weeks ago, he and his family were arrested and deported, and he’s deaf…and ICE wouldn’t even allow him to take his assistive hearing devices with him…” Keilar asked again. KEILAR: “And how long do you think folks should expect this shutdown to continue?” SWALWELL: “It can end right now. You know, Brianna, and the president, if he says he’s paying TSA, who the hell knows? He doesn’t even seem to believe in Congress anymore.” “He’s in defiance of the Republican leader in the Senate—” That’s when Keilar finally snapped at the repeated deflection. KEILAR: “Let me rephrase it!” “How long are Democrats prepared…” “How long are Democrats prepared to hold the line on where they are, if there isn’t a change from Republicans?” SWALWELL: “I will continue to support paying TSA. I cannot support more public executions or deporting more little children like the six year old in my district who was sent without his hearing devices to Colombia.” “I’m not in for that. And most Americans aren’t either.” The look on Keilar’s face said everything. She ended the interview.

‡ Might (the) Grass Ultimately Prove Greener? Golden Tempo, a two-year-old colt by Curlin, owned and bred by Phipps Stable & St. Elias Stables, LLC, recently won his debut in eye-catching style. It was a 6f. MSW race at the Fair Grounds, and he came from the clouds, as they say, to win going away. He earned a 78 Beyer figure, and a 12 on Ragozin sheets. The attached video clip begins roughly midway through the turn, with the announcer saying that "Golden Tempo has dropped back to last", but the colt actually raced at the back of the pack from just after the break. With only one race under his belt, it is a bit early to be making confident assumptions, particularly as he was both bred to be, and appears to be a later-developing physical type. But the challenge of using even scant available evidence to make projections can be both fun, and potentially useful. So let's dive in. *** Given the colt's pedigree and physical type, I would say that it would be safe to assume that he will prove better suited to longer races, though the question of whether or not he is likely to stay effectively beyond 9f. is very much open at this early stage. What interests me the most, though, are a couple of more nuanced, and possibly connected aspects of Golden Tempo's debut, and what they may imply when filtered through the lens of his pedigree and physical characteristics. First, does the fact that the colt rallied from last to win over 6f., a distance well short of those to which he is likely to prove better suited, necessarily imply that he is a "one-run" horse? Or will he, given more ground, and experience, prove capable of displaying good tactical speed? I would note that when inexperienced horses fail to break alertly, and/or take some time to get their feet under them after the break, some, like Golden Tempo, lag back for a few furlongs before mounting a late run, while others show some, if not a burst of speed, earlier in the running. I think it's fair to say that broadly speaking, the former are more likely to prove to be one-run types than the latter. While that is far from sufficient evidence to confidently assume that Golden Tempo will necessarily turn out to be a one-run horse, it does at least hint in that direction. Another, even more nuanced hint, is his action. When I first watched the replay of the race, my initial thought was that the colt was finishing like a typical one-run horse. What do I mean by that? The best way to explain it is to say that he appears, in a sense, to be pulling with his forelegs, more than pushing from behind. The distinction is subtle, so bear with me. Dirt surfaces are, albeit to differing degrees, "break-away" surfaces. Think of what it is like when you run on a beach over loose sand, as opposed to concrete, or a running track. Some horses handle dirt surfaces well, while others don't, and there are several variables that contribute to such preferences. Pedigree is, of course, a primary consideration, but often the more important variables are conformation, physical type, and action. In the U.S., dirt horses are often, though not always, more heavily muscled than those best suited to turf. I'd suggest that one of the more likely reasons is that speed is such an important quality in American dirt racing, and muscular horses, especially through the hind-quarters, are typically able to accelerate more quickly. It may also be the case that strong propulsion from behind helps horses to, in a sense, power through looser surfaces. There are exceptions, of course, and plenty of them. Fierceness, to use a recent example, had a very high cruising speed, yet was not heavily muscled, nor did he have a powerful looking hind end. But every aspect of the game features exceptions, and they help to define, rather than diminish the value of pattern recognition. Beyond the "pulling" action that I mentioned above, I found the embedded photo posted by his trainer to be interesting as well. While it's not an ideal conformation shot, he does give the impression of a leggy, later-developing type, and not yet fully "furnished", despite being an early February foal. He also gives me the impression, both overall and in terms of foreleg conformation, of a horse that would likely be suited to turf racing. Now, needless to say, due to typical preferences and the incentives found in American racing, there is little, if any chance of Golden Tempo ever racing on turf, as long as he continues to perform well on dirt. But setting that aside, I dug into his pedigree in an effort to see if there were any further hints to be found. Superficially, it's easy to see why most would assume that the colt was bred to be a dirt horse. After all, his sire, Curlin, and dam-sire, Bernardini, were both dirt performers, and are best known as sires of dirt horses. His dam, Carrumba, also performed well on dirt. However, on closer inspection, I wouldn't be so confident in that thumbnail reading. Consider that Golden Tempo does not closely resemble Curlin, in part in terms of coat color. And while many would consider that to be of little importance, I would disagree, based on long experience. What I mean is that I have often found value in connecting the appearance of horses which don't closely resemble their own sires, with other genetic influences that are not too distant. And in this case, I would say that Golden Tempo reminds me more of Curlin's sire, Smart Strike, and some of his offspring. Though he only raced on dirt himself, Smart Strike got plenty of good turf horses (e.g. Champion English Channel) through a successful career at stud. As for Golden Tempo's dam, Carrumba, she has thus far produced one other foal to race, Hype House, a filly which failed to place in three starts. She was trained by Shug McGaughey, and, interestingly, all three of her starts were on turf. His second-dam, Castanet, was by El Prado (Ire). Though a versatile sire, El Prado produced top turf horses such as Artie Schiller and Kitten's Joy. Castanet was also trained by Shug McGaughey, and she only started twice. The first race was on dirt, and the second on turf, in which she placed third. Castanet produced Dancing All Night, a filly also trained by Shug McGaughey, which began her career with a number promising dirt races, before appearing to plateau, and being switched to the turf for her final two starts. That she was unplaced in both (the latter was taken off the turf) is not nearly as important, to my mind, as why Shug might have chosen to make the surface switch. Golden Tempo's third-dam, Dancinginmydreams, produced the Gr. I turf winner Dancing Forever, and several other good turf runners. So, while I wouldn't say that Golden Tempo's bottom-line screams turf, it has been more than versatile enough to consider the possibility, given other hints, or encouragements. *** Finally, there is a good chance that this analysis will ultimately prove to be purely academic, and I'd be perfectly happy to see Golden Tempo thrive on dirt, and perhaps develop into a serious KY Derby prospect. But if, by chance, he were to plateau at some point, or for any other reason be given an opportunity to try the turf, I have a fairly strong suspicion that he would adapt very well, and reward the colt's connections.

‡ Might (the) Grass Ultimately Prove Greener? Golden Tempo, a two-year-old colt by Curlin, owned and bred by Phipps Stable & St. Elias Stables, LLC, recently won his debut in eye-catching style. Julian Assange was asked over a decade ago after seeing thousands and thousands of documents and videos from the various leaks, what had surprised him the most. He said it was the big picture of the war (Post 9/11), and how so much of the death that was happening was not because of war time conflict, but because of soldiers killing civilians either accidentally or intentionally as they're policing controlled zones. He describes a story where a young girl in a yellow dress would walk around giving soldiers candy, always being left alone and treated nicely, and one day someone in a tank just decided to blow her up for no reason. This is something many Americans don't like to talk about or bring up, but Wikileaks exposed an egregious amount of war crimes that were being committed by the US military and soldiers that were either doing as they were told, or not following orders and going rogue in killing innocents. When your MSM and military is constantly telling you "these people hate us, they want us all dead, they hate America, they hate freedom", creating this evil boogey man that you must eliminate in totality, there will obviously be some sociopaths out there that have no humanity who have no problem killing innocents, including children, just as we're seeing now with Hamas in Palestine or with Israel and the bombings. Some of you might remember some of these old videos when Wikileaks first came to prominence, like the soldier throwing a puppy dog off a cliff for no reason, or the soldiers entering homes and mowing down an entire family, including kids, without knowing if they were "terrorists" or not first. I saw these videos years ago and they're still burned into my mind. Wish I could forget them. You can find many of these examples in every nation and every military across the world, and they demonstrate a symptom of a much bigger problem in society in how we've become so desensitized to war and death, our perceptions of the enemy not being like us and needing to be eliminated in totality, and what kind of forces exist above us that are driving us to think and feel such a way. Every American needs to come to terms with the fact that the US military has committed evil acts just as awful as Hamas and Israel has, and advocating for more war, death, and destruction at the behest of these criminal central bankers doesn't fix anything. It only makes them more rich and powerful. Stop being a pawn in their chess games. All wars are bankers wars.

The nearly 86 year old Ex Labour MP, Maori affairs Minister Dover Samuels tells Laws : “Shane Jones called me to come to this hikoi in Kaikohe to wake up this bloody ngapuhi iwi to the atrocities happening to our kids, but no bugger wants to do anything about it especially Māori themselves. As far as ngapuhi leadership is converned I have no faith in the born again unelected kaumātuas. Shane and I tried to shake them up about the issue but they got offended. They are too busy talking about themselves and hikois for the treaty when nothing was going to bloody happen, meanwhile the murder of children is going on under our roofs, smoking P is the culture. Māori have no leadership and it’s only them who can fix this. What has John Tamihere and TPM ever done for our people? nothing”. Māori leadership. There is none. Māori in leadership roles have continually been a failure over and over again. More concerned about grifting and causing division. Where is the introspection ? Where is courage and truth speaking ? Nah it’s all Marxist mumbo jumbo, while these self anointed faux Māori leaders hitch themselves to the radical gravy train. So here we have this catastrophic failure of culture, of leadership and yet the Govt is hell bent on adopting the “so called Māori approach” to everything. I’m sorry but the Māori approach is one of failure and murdered kids. Stick it up your ass. I am of ngapuhi descent, my grandmother married Dover Samuel’s mums brother, I know that area, and it’s a write off. Gangs, drugs and violence. It’s the pits. Mana Tahere twice backed out of an interview with Laws. He has has been anointed as some kind of ‘leader’ for Ngapuhi and apparently has a masters in indigenous leadership - the 38 year old also serves as an ‘equity’ expert on a health board in Northland. I think we can see where the problem is right there, he’s no leader. I 100% agree with Dover Samuels and with Michael Laws when he says - “I’m over this too many Māori children are dying, too many Māori have drug and violence issues, there is no Māori leadership” Catalya Remana Tangimetua Pepene tragically WILL NOT be the last Māori child murdered by her own family, she is just the latest statistic while the so called “Māori leadership” trumpet ‘dEcOlonIzAT10n’ and blame everyone else but them bloody selves, take responsibility and address this toxic mess that modern Māori culture now represents.

it's my birthday. sometimes I feel like I'm 10 years behind in life. deep down I know that that this year will be the best and hardest year of my life but I gotta be honest the five folks who care for a minute. spent the past decade depressed, embarrassed that I wasn't more talented or more successful, guilt ridden for not being mature enough to handle life the way I would've liked when I was younger, keeping my head down trying to work on myself and trying to hone my skills to be a better storyteller. just years of telling myself I'm not good enough, telling myself I'm not old enough or lucky enough. telling myself who the fuck cares about what I do or create. like how the fuck can I do what so many others do. fuck off for even thinking you can do it stephen. I'm not a special person, I'm just a dude. some idiot. who has been in the film industry since I was a kid. an industry I left for a while because I needed to disconnect, I needed time to figure out my life after working since the second grade. needed to find my love and passion. and I did. which is making things for people to enjoy. but it hasn't been that simple. that pivot was like a hard reset. suddenly everything I'd ever achieved meant nothing. it's been a constant grind every day while trying to keep a roof over my head taking on retail jobs, service jobs, handyman gigs after leading shows and movies. and that's okay. like I've gotten clowned on it but you gotta make it work. in between all of that I've been lucky to work with huge brands, do stellar uncredited work on amazing flicks and slowly chip away on my own goals. for the past decade I haven't been able to sleep easily. can't turn off my brain. thinking about how I'm never doing enough for hours just in bed. telling myself maybe it'll be different tomorrow while hiding from the world making unhealthy decisions, not taking care of myself. a lot of times I do feel like I've missed out on my life, especially the past ten years. I've just been working. when I'm not working I'm working on the side with nothing to show for it. just endless chasing rent while being delusional about creating a better life. if you're not careful this kinda dream can suck the life out of you. you lose your passion for it. but I haven't. so much of me has just been waiting in the background of my own life, thinking there would be some moment of realization when I've worked on myself enough and I suddenly I feel like "oh I've got this." waited for that moment but it never came. don't think it ever will. I'm tired of waiting, I'm tired of thinking I'm not ready, I'm tired of telling myself I'm not good enough. it's not true. I won't give up. I won't give up on trying to entertain people. I won't give up on my dream of helping my friends fulfill their own. I never will. love and appreciate all of you for sticking with me and watching what I do and being here for me. 90% of my body is made of movies, games and soundtracks; so because I'm a cringe dork, I have meme'd for years that I feel like reclusive bruce wayne in the dark knight rises (but broke and less handsome) afflicted by failures unable to accept that my life can go on. but that's bullshit. maybe I needed an era to change and hurt and struggle and learn and become who I wanted to be. life comes and goes in eras. and I'm in my begins era now baby.
