WATCH | Pedestrians were forced to use an unstable suspension footbridge to cross Mtshabezi Bridge in Gwanda District so they could reach their destinations. Reports say that some people lost their luggage when it fell into the river while they were crossing. The Mtshabezi River Bridge had been overflowing for more than 24 hours. Youths from the surrounding area took advantage of the situation by assisting pedestrians to cross the bridge and helping them carry their luggage for a fee.

Revised 1997 regulations made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act (1984) include a provision that: • Pedestrians must not remain on a crossing longer than necessary to cross. • They must not unnecessarily delay traffic by lingering, loitering, or obstructing the crossing area. This is designed to ensure crossings function as intended: a safe, efficient point for pedestrians to cross, not a place to block traffic... One law for us eh? #ReformUK

This is from Chicago. (USA drives on the right). As you can see, buses do keep changing lanes and will stop frequently at bus stops. There is no dedicated bus lane. If you are behind a bus, you gotta wait, or find a way to safely change lanes. So when the local buses in India do it, please understand that it is quite normal. It is so important that this music carry on especially with the AI music out there. those of us that can still go out and play. should do it as long as they can physically and emotionally carry that torch. Van Halen was, should be, and hopefully always will be real live music, not just for our fans, but for the future fans of real rock music. ❤️
